I Listen to the Stars
I listen to the stars in the Indigo sky;
I listen to the Cosmos twinkle and twirl;
I listen to the stardust like water falling;
And I listen to the silver moon, stream dance and swirl.
But when I speak no one listens to me.
I cannot breathe, I cannot feel,
I cannot speak, yet I still hear the stars
Appeasing me with their somewhat
Belated delves in to my soul.
I knew something was to happen,
Yet I would not not feel or see anything,
Only the overbearing call of the cosmos in their shiftless forms.
I was now into numbness of all senses
and my strength was plummetted down to the very bowels of this earth.
I cannot hear, I cannot feel, I cannot think, I cannot breathe...
And now the stars are gone.
