• Loss,
    Pity,
    Pain,
    Hatred.

    Last night,
    I awoke from a dream,
Where I was caressing the body of the one I love,
    After her brutal murder.

    The moon sets a scene,
Bathed in the light it stole,
    From the sun,
In the center of a field.

I see myself staring at this scene in anguish,
For why I not yet know,
For it looks beautiful, something only heard of in the realm of one's imagination.
But then I notice the corpse.

The corpse is in a spotlight of the lunar reflection of sun,
And I not yet know whom it is,
Until I follow my body to it, who had sprinted all his might,
And in dread I find the corpse of my love.

    Neck slit,
    Chest carved,
    Torso all but removed,
I become lost in an ocean of blood.

    At this point,
    My inhuman thirst is gone,
    "Happiness" is gone,
All is replaced by an astounding pain.

I hold her closer, squeeze her to the point of snapping, in a desprate attempt to fill the hole in my chest,
Harder than I ever would have dared if she was alive,
Because I wanted to protect her, didnt want to hurt her, see her hurt,
But I failed to, like I fail at everything else.

As the blood soaked ground begins to spin,
And suddenly, I see her eyes flicker open to look at me,
    Desprately looking for help,
    For me.

And as she focuses upon my face,
    She begins to smile,
SMILE! as if she finds this humorous,
And her hand weakly starts to raise towards my face while speaking.

Blood bubbles from her slit throat, fountains out of her body, and I stare at her in disbelief,
She is beyond dead, but she pushes herself,
    She pushes herself to live,
    She is somehow still alive!

    Her hand touches my cheek,
And thats when I break down.
Tears overflow from my eyes, like waterfalls,
I bury my face into her neck, and scream.

    Scream! Scream!
    Scream for eternity!
Scream as the black hole consumes me, and she dissapears from my embrace,
As the pain destroys me, and the demon is released!

And as the scream of pain turns into a battle cry,
And as I sink my teeth into my first victim for vengeance against the world,
And as the world burns in hellfire,
I wake in a cold sweat, tears streaming down my face.

Quickly scanning the room, I realize it just being a dream.
A shiver licks my spine as relief hits me.
Sweet, sweet relief to find out she is alive,
And it was just a hellish nightmare.

But I dont want this to happen,
I dont want to fail protecting her,
And have something happen like that.
I dont want to create such a future.

A future where everything is annihilated,
A future where she doesnt exist.
