• She sits with her head in her hands
    Her eyes tightly shut.
Hoping to see that bit of darkness in life.

    But she only sees light.
    Her eyes twinkle and sparkle,
    And yet they are dead.

    She longs for the darkness,
For the light to go away,
    For she has gone insane,
Of this pureness day after day.
    She never sees night.
    She only sees light.
    In people, In colors.
    Light,
    Light,
    Light.

Her nights are filled with dreams of the day.
Those are her nightmares it's sad to say.
    She wants to escape,
    From this prision of light....

    Longing for the pure darkness,
    That lurks in the night.
