Death is but
A slow, fading
Memory.
Death is but
A trifle in
All we are.
Death is but
A hollow shell,
Nothing more.
Death is but
A shade of gray,
Soon passing.
Death is but
A passage to
The next world.
Death is but
A thing quite small.
Do not fear.

- Title: Death Is But...
- Artist: Taste of a Raindrop
- Description: A little poem to remind us not to fear death, for it ultimately has no power at all. Rather, it is like one of those little doggies that barks and barks and barks but runs away if a fly gets near it.

- The feeling you expressed behind this piece, is stirring and almost overwhelming but in a very beautiful way. It was very emotional and deep in a very simplistic way, but I think of it as beautiful like a work of art.

- i didn't know others really felt that way, the same as i do. and your right; death is not something to fear. if you've lived, you've had air in your lungs, warmth in your heart, and blood being pumped through your body. if you die, you know that it was suppossed to be, and you shouldn't be afraid. everyone dies in the end anyway. so why be afraid when it's unevitable. well done. beautiful words
