• So untouched by man, she's almost unreal,
While brambles of untamed snake around her heels.
She walks along a path without any cares,
For the jungle nurtures what is fair.
I caught a glimpse of her wings.
Silly, silly me, I must be imagining things.
I crept closer to get a better look,
and I stared until my very heart shook.
She just turned to me, and she smiled.
I soon fell in love, with this angel of the wild.
She taught me to live on trust, love, and each other alone.
She taught me to find wonder in every life and stone.
I now cherish the small things, the rain, the sun,
And everything that nurtures the fields through which we run.
She taught me to find, all the things I missed,
And now I see the beauty in the wilderness.
