You taught me to fly

You didn’t hold back

You showed me the sky

You gave me the world on a silver tray

You taught me of love and the games people play

You gave me the strength to stand alone

And all the confidence to make it on my own

You gave it all but you’ll never know

Just how much you’ve helped me grow
