• Description: I have this friend that’s very depressed. I wrote this song cause of that. Just cause her grandma tells her she’s a disgrace for not liking Mexican food, she feels like a faliure! Heck, my mom calls me only “half-smart” cause I’m half Asian and my friend’s supposed to like African food but she doesn’t! She's always asking for help and it’s hard cause no matter how many times I try to help her, she always ignores me! It’s frustrating. :(

She never shows it but she feels like there’s no home
Why does she worry?
Why does she let this pain take over?
She feels like everything is falling apart right now
Her heart is broken and she feels like screaming out loud
Why do you let this?
Why do you let this happen to you?

And she screams
And she cries
All the trouble’s been living inside
In her mind
In all of her dreams that never lie
Why do you let this?
I’m sorry I cannot help you if you don’t save yourself…

Her loved one is leaving in only a matter of days
The one she stands by is just going to fade away
Why don’t you tell him?
Why don’t you let him know your still in love?

These problems add up she feels so broken inside
I try to help her but she doesn’t help me fight
All of her problems
All of her problems are eating at her…

And she screams
And she cries

I don't think that poem properly depicts a measly situation like not liking Mexican food, or being "half smart".
" And she screams And she cries" - Over being called a disgrace because she doesn't like a type of food?
