• V1
The Wind whispers in my ear
Cool, and Sharp, and very clear.
It said, "Get up and follow me.
Get up, and you will see."
I got up, and looked around,
and do you know what I'd found?
The Wind who was calling to me
Was standing right in front of me.
Not as a cloud, or a creature, or a spirit,
But as a living breathing person, I'd swear it.
With her thin frail hands, she motioned to me,
To come with her, to learn and to be,
Who I am, and What I am,
A poet, a writer, and a Wind to be.

    V2
The Wind whispers to my mind.
I listened and what I'd find
    Convolutes and distorts my thoughts,
and with these new thoughts with them brought
    Weird feelings and desires
    and Voices that never tire.
Never tire of speaking to me
tire of calling me to be.
I have no idea which Voice I should follow.
I have no idea which path contains sorrow.
But then, the wind picks up and says to me,
"Take up your burden and come with me,
So that you can learn to be
Unburdened, and at peace, still a Wind to be."

    V3
The Wind whispers to my heart.
though I know not where to start,
She says my journey has begun,
And not to stop 'til the race is run.
We all go, and we all run,
But how many run 'til the race is done?
    Most stop before the end
And don't bother to try again.
If they only knew, that all they'd need
Is to listen to the wind, indeed.
For the Wind is wise, and the Wind is old,
And the Wind is telling us to be bold.
I shall listen to what she says to me
    Because I'm a teacher, a dreamer, and a Wind ... I shall Be.
