• Description: I was looking through some old saved msn messages from a few years ago and I found an interesting conversation between me and a ex. I called her and told her I was writing a poem based off of these messages. The format is Boy: Girl. and so on. The first two stanzas is what was actually in the message.

Hug and kiss as time fades away.
Sit on the roof and watch as stars shift into clouds,
as night turns into day.

I wish I was in your arms right now,
Your heart beat comforting me,
Making me feel like everything is going to be ok.
Showing that I love you and hopefully, you see.

I wish you and I could be together,
So I can claim you as mine.
This love I have for you will last forever
Because this love has no time.

I wish you and I could be together,
Because I know you will treat me right,
Just getting through the day,
knowing there will not be a fuss or fight.

If only I could as you this question,
I hate that I'm devoured by silence.
My heart will lead me in the right direction.
Will you be mine and create this love alliance?

If only you would ask me,
You'd know I would say yes.
Then you would witness love
only at its best.
