Missing the rain, won't make the rain come cry
Feeling a picture, won't make the picture come alive
Seeing your reflection, won't make you change
Writting a word, won't make the story real
Remebering the past, won't make the future
Singing a song, won't cure a cold
Buying things, won't make you better then others
Teasing people, won't make you beautiful
Not listening, won't get you anywhere
Having super powers, won't make you a hero
Winning a game, won't make you any different
Cutting yourself, won't heal the damage already caused
Worrying about life, won't let you move on
Getting back up, won't make you weak
Painting a picture, won't make the colours dissappear
Running away, won't make the problems go away
Lying about everything, won't make it the truth heart

Thanks for the advice, but this was my first poem and im new to it all. Its just a sad crying face and a heart...People should be able to see past the emotions, and connect with the words within the poem.

An elementary attempt at best. Should you want to further your writing and potential talent forego the emotes. If you use emotes it means the writing isn't strong enough to portray those emotions and/or images within the work.
