• As I stand still on top of the mountain overlooking the town
I close my eyes and I take in a deep breathe
As I slowly breathe out my pain, anger, insecurities , frustration and my hate
    All disappear
My breathe slowly swirling round and disappears into the atmosphere

    Looking down on the town
Makes me feel so alive yet at the same time
    I feel worthless and insignificant
Dawning on me how small the town is
I question what about the world ?

We wake up and go on our businesses then we nag, insult, hate and despise on
What is most essential to us.
We look at the world and we see our homes , our dreams , our hopes
We seem to spend time arguing rather than coming up with solutions

We are indeed humans but I wonder why God gave us this magnificent planet
All we have done is destroy it
We exploit the inexperienced and the poor only to better the rich.
We turn a blind eye to the suffering and the cries of the innocent children.

We stand back and watch blood being shed for the sake of money and power
We live in a hypocritical world
We have no excuse for letting pain and suffering happen to the innocent
I feel nothing but utter disgust for our behaviour.

We pride ourselves in our knowledge but what is knowledge when it doesn’t benefit others.
I stand for peace , love and unity

Don’t you think its about time we all did.
