• There once was a little sheep
Whose flees was white as snow
And then one day she wondered away
    Thinking no one would know

She came upon a big black forest
    That was spooky and dark
    No sound echoed around her
Not even the sheep dog’s bark

    Frightened was she
    In this blanket of black
    Until a little blue fairy
    Landed on her back

    ‘Hello little sheep, little sheep
Where might you be going in a place so dense?'
    ‘Well,’ Said the sheep
‘I wanted to see if the grass was really greener on the other side of the fence…'

‘Oh dear’ Whispered the horned little creature
‘I would like to show you a meadow up a far.
‘It’s the greenest place in the forest,’ Said she
Hiding her evil intentions that were black and dark as tar.

    The little white sheep,
    Trusting as she was
    Fallowed the directions
And the sound of the blue fairies wings a buzz

    Tripping and falling
    At points in time
The little white flees was dirty as mud
But the fairy giggled, ‘That will come out with some lime.’

    The sheep smiled
    Going on her way
For she needed to see this meadow
Before the end of the day...

    Hours and hours later
    They stumbled upon a clearing
    Not realizing what was happening
    Not noticing the fairy leering

The giggles ran clear across the wood
To the valley so far away
    ‘Little sheep, little sheep…
‘It’s the end of the day…’

    The sheep turned
Not knowing what was to be her fate
    ‘Fairy, oh fairy…
‘I’m in such a fearful state.’

    A fire sparked
    And the pot heated
    The sheep cried out
‘I don’t want to be eated!’

    Too late
    Did the sheep now know
    That she was dinner
As she hung her head low

    CHOP CHOP
    Went the axe head
    Poor little brown sheep
    Was now dead

    The fairy giggling
    As she ate her meat
    ‘Little sheep little sheep,
‘Why don’t you stand, get up on your feet?’

    The fairies around her
    Giggled as well
As they all talked about the sheep
    How she tripped and fell

    That’s the story
They told it to Bow peep
Her cries rung out as she screamed
    ‘Little sheep, little sheep!’
