• My heart dropped before you came along

It smashed into millions of tiny unpure sharp pieces

You tried to pick them up, they started cutting you

Slowly the impurities seeped into your skin

    You started to get angry

    You started to give up

    I cried

    You screamed

    We didn't make it

    I'm sorry

    I warned you

    I'm complicated

    I'm not easy

You eventually picked up the dropped impurities

Only to drop them again, into even smaller pieces

Every piece that has been broken, caused me to shed a tear

The sharp glass shards coat my bed as I slumber

The sharp pieces causing me pain, to horrible to take any longer

I pick up a piece, my eyes shimmering brightly, almost as brightly as the single shard resembling a sharp diamond

Tonight I'll lay, the shards coated in redness

    Red is your favorite color

'Mind picking up the pieces now?
