• Neon sky
    Candy clouds
    Let us fly
    through the shrouds
    Through this humanity
    Before us now
    Come with me
    To dance a ring
    Around the graves
    For those who died
    For better things.
    Shards of glass
    Pointing up
    From blackened earth
    Glinting in the
    Darkened sky.
    the only light
    Cold and blue
    Remains barely
    Showing over
    The jet
    Horizon.
    Snowy bats
    Hang
    Clinging
    Red eyes
    Gleaming
    Dripping contrasts
    Whispers
    Through
    Barren trees
    Calling to
    Us.
    Rumbling
    Growling
    From the
    Troat of
    Some
    Beast of
    Shadow.
    Sparkling
    Glittering
    Glinting
    Black-glass
    Cloaked
    Citadel rising
    Like a
    Crown of thorns
    From the ash.
    Turrets winding
    Stretch toward
    Nothingness
    Iron doors
    Latched
    And foreboding
    Spidery windows
    Show no light
    No life
    Within these
    Walls
    Rainbows fly above
    Overhead
    Cracked
    colors dulled
    As if
    They were in the
    Sun for
    Far too long.

    Emerald forest lies
    Across the plains
    Decieving those from
    Afar
    Drawing in
    The naive
    Never letting them
    Out
    Never to escape.

    An image of
    Light and dark
    Intertwined
    Completely one
    Completely two.

    How soft
    The snow is
    When it falls
    Frozen hills
    Frozen grass
    Frozen stones
    Engraved names
    For those who
    Did indeed
    DIE
    For better things
    But they're not here
    I doubt they will be
    So let's sit back
    And watch this world
    Entertain us with
    Its new antics
    Everyday

    'Never more'
    A raven did quote once
    And little did that bird
    Acknowledge
    Of just how corred he
    Was.
