Why does it seem like you don't care,
Why is it that your never there,
When I need you?

Hey Dad,
What do I have to do,
To get it through to you,
That i need you?

Hey Dad,
Is there anything I can say,
To make you see the way,
I need you?

Hey Dad,
How can I get you to know,
That i miss you so,
And I need you

Hey Dad,
What if I would call,
To try and break down this wall,
Because I need you?

Hey Dad,
How would you react,
If I told you it's a fact,
That I need you?

Hey Dad,
Why is it you can't see,
How much it's hurting me,
To need you?

Hey Dad,
What if I took a bus,
And tried to make an us,
So I wouldn't need you?

Hey Dad,
Would it make you cry,
If I said good-bye,
When I no longer need you?

Hey Dad,
Please don't start a fight,
We can still make it right,
Because, for now, I still need you,
Hey Dad.
