Why did I have to stay?
Why am I still on this earth,
And you so far away?
Why am I still here,
Where your voice cannot
be heard?
Why did you have to leave me here,
Stranded on a broken world?
Why did you have to leave me?
Why did I choose not to follow?
It feels as if I'm on an earth,
That's drowning out in sorrow.
Why am I not in,
The place I know
I should?
Why did I not choose to go,
Far from this broken world?
Why did you have to die?
Why do I have to be alive?
I should have just stayed with you,
When he was threatening your life.
Why did I choose not to go,
To the place where you
were lured?
Why, because I know I'm meant
To fix this broken world.
