    The earth is our mother,
    She gives us life,
    At little price,
When we get hurt she heals with the herbs,
When we’re lost she leads us home with the birds,
When we’re hungry she gives us game,
When we’re tired she gives us a bit of hearth,
Yet to disregard her is lame,
For she cares for us with the whole earth,
She speaks to us through the winds,
Filled with the stories of our kin,
This is no tree hugger thing,
Just believe in her and you’ll see,
There is more to mother earth than there seems to be,
For there is no other place I would like to be.
