• I am staring into the hazy mirror.
I see... someone that is not beautiful.
I see... A pig nose, too many freckles, bleachy eyebrows,
I want to see, a normal nose, perfect skin, perfect...perfect...perfect...
    I want to be beautiful.

My hand curls into a fist,
A tear runs down my cheek,
    I stare out the window,
    Where the rain is falling,
A flash of lighting, a roll of thunder,
    The lights go out,
    I strike the mirror.
The glass shatters, and glints as it falls through the air,
The blood runs down my pale hand,
    I scramble for a bandage,
I run water over my wounds,
    And wash away the evidence,
I wrap my hand in tissue and toilet paper,
    You walk in the room,
    I look over,
You rush over and grab my wrist,
I smile and my eyes close,
The blood rolls onto the floor as I fall backward,
    You shake me and yell,
I just laugh and it's louder and louder,
    As with the thunder,
    The Lights flicker,
    You scream.
