My World

My World is fun.
My world is dandy.
My world can really, truly
Come in handy.

When I'm down or I'm bored
Or when my imagination's crazy,
When I'm jumpy, bouncy,
Or just feeling lazy.

I open up a book,
Turn on the computer,
Open up word,
Start typing. Typing. Typing.

I write of my world.
Everything that goes on in my life,
When magic mixes with reality,
When I'm dealing with pain and strife.

My world is where no one has to be literate,
Where everyone cares how the story ends,
Where nothing really has to rhyme
(Or maybe it does, just some of the time.)
Where it doesn't matter how cheesy it may be if it's filled with true love,

I am a writer, and this is my world.
