• As I walk through the halls everyday I get asked the same things.
Why did you buy those drinks?
Why did you buy the smokes?
Why did you buy those drugs?
And I answer to them it wasn't for me it was for a friend.

And when I walk through them again people shake their heads and ask the same things.
Why did you buy those drinks?
Why did you buy those smokes?
Why did you but those drugs?
And again I answer to them it wasn't for me it was for a friend.

So the week before school is out for the summer people still shake their heads and ask me those things.
Why did you buy those drinks?
Why did you buy those smokes?
Why did you buy those drugs?
And I still answer them wasn't for me it was for a friend.

So the last day of school was over I was resting and I got a call from my friend Jenny's mom. As I picked up the phone she said to me in a hopeless, hurt voice Jenny is dead. They called the school made them tell every student what happened.
    She drank those drinks.
    She smoked those smokes.
She took those drugs and now my best friend is dead.

As I arrived for my first day of my junior year people came up to me and said sorry we didn't believe you those things were for a friend and now Jenny is dead. I spoke on the news the next day what it is like to go to school without your best friend because she is dead and said see what drinking, smoking, and drugs can do make your best friend dead. So if you have a friend like Jenny help her before she is dead.
