• He stood there looking at her and taking in all her strange, complex beauty. All the little things he hadn't noticed before. The chipped fingernail polish, the thin veil of a dress that looked as though it had been spun from the backs of spiders. Barley a sheath to cover her thin frame. The worn out look of her skin. The dark red shade around her eyes and the way her lips looked cracked and black on the insides. He saw the dark glitter makeup smeared on her cheeps and hands. The way her fingers shook when reaching for things as though about to pull them back. How her eyes looked when she gazed at the other people around her. As though she saw things the rest if them didn’t. The deep sadness, anger, boredom, fear, and hate. That was what he saw looking down at the girl on the cracked, dusty floor in front oh him. Mouth full to the teeth with blood that was slowly oozing from the corner and began to pool around her. There was a wild messy beauty to her and now there was the content climax. Like the perfect ending to a horror movie or last dregs of never leaving the veins. He smiled to himself.
