• I watched the sun rise as Epona snorted underneath me. Her foggy breath was wafting up to greet me as she pawed at the ground. I knew it was going to be a big day; I could feel the power from my hand grow as the Triforce glowed. I breathed in as I watched the final rays peak over Death Mountain, people say it is an ugly mountain, but after being with so many people from that mountain, I grew to love it, and all of its people. I grew nervous knowing what was to happen later that day; I was to fight the one and only Dark Lord: Ganondorf. I had worked, what seemed like my entire life fighting my way to get to this point; fighting everything from giant spiders, monkeys, to even a possessed Yetiess. Going through painstakingly annoying castles gathering things like a magical Boomerang that makes a tornado, a Ball and Chain that can break just about anything, to Clawshots that can lift me to heights not even imaginable. I’ve killed things six times the size of me without batting an eye.

What ever happened to the innocent me? What happed to the Hyrulian boy that herded goats in a small pasture? The boy that was in trouble almost constantly because I fell asleep on the job, or I accidently pushed Epona to hard and she got a scratch… I learned NOT to do that again after the scolding I got from Ilia… But, that boy is gone; and a new, hardened man came through the battles… And now that new man, he must face the final battle, the battle of the century, no, the span of time. But, for some reason I feel as if the battle will never end, that the fighting will never stop and that more and more people will die. I watch the sun rise until it was hovering over the mountain, and sighed. I clicked my tongue twice and felt Epona move forward, towards the large castle that loomed in the distance, towards the structure that held the Dark Lord; the structure that holds the fate of an entire world. Will I win? Or will I lose? What will happen to me? What will happen to everyone? Well, I guess I'll find out after all this is over...
