• The Bermuda Triangle is one of the most mysterious places on Earth, we knew about the strange disappearances but we boarded the ship anyways. We knew that countless people along with their ships or planes had disappeared there, never to be heard from again. It turns out the missing people merely entered a portal that leads directly to the most diverse and dangerous city on earth, . . . in earth? I don't know, let's just say related to earth. Miasma City is located in some weird, dimension within the planet. In a way Miasma City is hidden within the earth. In a way it is part of the earth, the darkest part. Miasma City is to our little blue planet what irrationality and violence is to human beings, lurking beneath the surface just out of our field of vision, keeping itself out of view, not letting anything break through. But when it does break through, it does it quickly and quietly, only partially penetrating the surface, like the light gray dorsal fin of a great white shark stalking it's prey through the choppy waters of the ocean.
Miasma City is a well kept secret, the humans who know about it generally want to forget. And the ones who aren't in on the secret are better off that way. Miasma City is the dark netherworld talked about in every culture you can think of, and a lot you can't. Sometimes the best kept secrets are the ones that are hidden right out in the open.
You can find any and everything in Miasma City, any pleasure that tickles your fancy, and any disgusting service can be found in one of the storefronts here if you're willing to look. If you're a real screwed up person whose become bored with every normal taboo it's not hard to find something even more filthy and unnatural here. Any and everything have, will, or are walking these winding everchanging streets. A person can feel the depravity and sin taking place in this disgusting hole before getting halfway through the portal, I know I could. But just like breathing the dense mysterious fog that wraps itself around the city like a poisonous scarf you get used to it. The skyline tries to hide the gigantic densely packed concrete jungle's true nature with buildings and skyscrapers that looked like they had been ripped right out of a comic book about a utopian city. Though, it's wise not to fall prey to the city's illusion of fantasy and wonder. It's doing what every good predator does. The city is drawing you in, lulling you into a false sense of security. It'll stalk you for as long as necessary, it's patience never waning as it waits for the perfect moment to strike and devour you without drawing a smidge of attention.
