• Labored breaths filled the air of the dead city. A path of red blood followed the man. Clenching his chest, he fell to his knees; his crimson cape covered his body. He looked down at his hand, covered in blood flowing from his severe wounds.
“Brother! Let us end this game of ‘cat and mouse’…” a man with short silver hair landed infront of the wounded man.
“…” the injured man looked down again as two other men joined the first silver haired one.
“Kill him Jun.” one with spiky silver hair implored the first.
“Hmph, with pleas--” a blood-curdling roar broke into his sentence. The man on the ground glanced up, and saw a white streak fly across the sky. He started to feel light-headed…
“Quick, kill him!” the spiky haired man said again to Jun.
“Grr…” Jun looked to the man on the ground.
“Die.” he raised a lightweight sword made of pure silver upward, pointing it at the man’s face. Suddenly, all three men were knocked back by a white furry tail, with a large tuft of fur on the tip that was icy-blue. The dragon moved its body over the wounded man. It growled as the three steadied themselves.
“Tch…” Jun said quietly. “Daichi, Takashi, let’s go…” and the three vanished in a cloud of dust.
The dragon let out a sigh and looked at the man under it. She gasped when she saw he was unconscious in a pool of his own blood. The dragon picked the man up and set him on her back. She stood firmly, seeing if he would fall off. When he did not, she took off out of the city.
