• Hadrian pointed at the door of the car, Graham stepped into it, and he knew he would be tortured and interrogated but he had no wanting to give information or become a hostage for that matter. He gave Marie a note; it was in a creamy, old fashioned envelope, was sealed with his stamp and had Terrace’s initials on it.
Marie rushed home and cried every step of the way, for once no criminals attacked her and she wasn’t even caring enough to notice if somebody tried to stalk her. She banged onto the house door; she couldn’t even lift her arms to get the keys. Miki opened it expecting another criminal but to his surprise Marie fell onto him. She couldn’t speak much but she tried to whisper, “Graham... Taken by Hadrian... Help him...” she said as loud as she could. Miki looked at her and touched her chest, her heartbeat was so rapid, it almost seemed like it would burst. “Hey! You, sit! Dude, you’re going to die if you keep that up!” he shouted but Marie rose to her feet and ran towards Terrace, with her last strength, she pulled out the note and placed it into Terrace’s hands.
She tilted her head but when she saw graham’s stamp she immediately tore it open. “If you get this, I was correct,” she read, “I was sure that some time, he’d attempt to take me hostage. I feared that he would hold somebody’s life for mine, so I have probably chosen to become a hostage. Trust me; I am only a temporary one. Do not come to look for me, it will be pointless and dumb for they can neither interrogate me nor hold my life hostage. I promise to you that none of you will get hurt. I love you cousin.” Terrace’s eyed bulged out, “He’s going to kill himself!”
Eli was already behind her, listening to the conversation, “I fear that he’s already dead if he planned this.” Terrace grabbed Marie, “I’m going to save him! Are you coming or not?” Miki was there too, “I’m in. All the way, I can’t leave Terrace to die now can I?” Terrace smacked him, “I can take care of myself idiot!” Miki grinned and stared at Eli. “Argh,” he said, “fine. I’ll cover you two but remember this; I have no intention of losing my life for any of you.” Terrace smacked him too, “Jerk!” Miki gave him a nod of approval.
Marie stood there silently for a second, “He said not to come to him. We’ll be ruining his plans.” Terrace put a hand on Marie’s shoulder, “As long as there’s hope, we’ll go for it. I’d never abandon a team mate.” Eli nodded, “Yeah, he probably expects us to come even later after long pondering and thought. Sneak attack at night, I don’t think he would even consider it.” Terrace opened the window, “don’t tell ex or Cuba, it’s a sneak attack not a full charge battle.” Miki looked confused, “Yeah, what they said.”
Terrace threw herself out of the window, Miki allowed Marie to get onto his back before leaping off himself. They both gentle landed on their feet with neat little ripples of wind beneath their heels. Marie was petrified but she thought they were sort of cool. A quiet clanging sound came from the entrance of the house; Eli came forwards neatly placing his house keys into his pocket. “It’s called a door,” He said.
