• Chapter 1
You shall have no other God’s before me.
One evening in April, a boy named Rizal was walking through the streets of London. His hair, tossed around his head, sticking up here and there, giving him a bad boy look. His eyes were a bright green that showed he had a wile spirit. His clothes were torn and wrinkled. A pair of light blue jeans with rips in the knees, a white wife beater and a plaid over shirt tied around his waist. On his hands; which were in his pockets, wore leather gloves with the fingers cut off and strap fastening them on the backs of his wrists. On his feet he wore combat boots and in his mouth rested a lit cigarette. Rizal was a true image of a rebel from the 80’s.
He walked down the darkened streets, keeping his head low as he looked down each alley he passed. A few on comers were laughing, drunkenly, shoving each other as they made their ways home after a few hours of drinking at the pub. Rizal smiled evilly as he watched the two pass by unknowingly of what was going on around them. Rizal pulled the cigarette out of his mouth as he stepped into a dark alleyway and stopped at a brick wall. Looking around he lowered his head, closed his eyes and touched the wall. He chanted a few words before a bright light shone from behind the bricks and they opened up.
A man with gray hair swaying past his hips, light pink lips, and the most amazing brown eyes stood in the entrance of the bricks. His clothes were old timey clothes from the early 1800’s and he carried a cane pole. He smiled at Rizal and bowed his head.
“Rizal my son, how have you been?” The man asked in a soothing voice.
Rizal looked up at the man and then lowered his head once more. “I’ve been good my Lord. Why have you called me here tonight?”
The man smiled and stepped from the doorway, closer to Rizal. “I called you here tonight because I have a job for you. I am sending you to another place called Htrae. No one knows of Htrae except for Roy; who is still there, the Great one, and us. I am sending you there on a mission. The mission is to claim what is rightfully ours. I cannot do so because I am not allowed beyond this realm, I trust you Rizal and I know you are the perfect one for this quest.”
Rizal nodded his head, keeping it bowed. “As you wish my Lord, I will not let you down.”
The man nodded and turned back to the entrance Rizal created. As the man walked further into the entrance, the bricks began to shake and close behind him. Soon the wall was completely together again and seemed as though a door had never appeared there. Rizal sighed and turned his back to the wall. Sticking the cigarette into his mouth, Rizal shoved his hands into his pockets and walked out of the alley. They dark England sky showed signs of rain, which meant Rizal had little time to find the portal of the realms. Many people believed the portal to be a myth, but as for Rizal, he knew it to be true. Picking up his pace, Rizal let his inner senses take control, leading him to another alleyway behind an old Voodoo shop. Stepping into the alley, he dropped his cigarette and stepped on it to putting it out. He closed his eyes and felt the energy from the invisible portal. Sighing, Rizal took a few steps forward, before disappearing into thin air.

Rizal sat in a fancy red velvet train seat. He sat on a train going through the countryside. A few people were riding with him, but they minded their own business, taking no note of Rizal or his presents. Rizal let out a breath and settled into his seat. After a few minutes, a trick collector walked up next to Rizal and cleared his throat. Rizal looked up at him and smiled taking in the classic train ticket collector uniform.
“Destination sir.” The man asked Rizal.
Rizal showed the man a c**k grin and leaned closer toward him. “Htrae, I was sent by The Evil one. “
The ticket collector’s eyes grew wide just as the train’s brakes squealed trying to slow down. The collector stepped aside, keeping his eyes on Rizal and stretched out his arm. “Your stop sir.” He said voice shaky.
Rizal nodded ad stood from his seat. “Thank you kind sir.” He said sarcastically before he walked past the man, down the aisle and out of the train’s door. ‘When he stepped out of the door, he stepped onto a concert platform in front of a train station. The train behind him started up and chugged along the tracks before picking up top speed and disappearing into the air. Rizal turned to the train station desk to see a woman standing behind a glass window with a smile on her face.
“Welcome to Htrae.” She said cheerfully.
Rizal raised an eyebrow and nodded his head with a not so carrying look on his face, as he shoved his hands into his jean’s pockets and walked toward the town.

When he entered the city, he looked around, seeing he was in what seemed like New York. All the people around his smiled and seemed friendly. As Rizal moved through the streets, he grew sick to his stomach. Everything was so perfect; no toxins filled his lungs, no poisons in the air. Everything was clean and healthy. Rizal looked around feeling misplaced and noticeable. He didn’t know what to do or say in the new place. Quickly he stirred into a public library and moved along the bookcases. A few people sat around at the tables hunched over reading books. Trying to act casual, Rizal pulled a book from the shelves as he looked around. When he looked at the title, he smiled slightly. “The Stand” it read across the cover. He opened the pages and frowned. He had forgotten that no one knew about things like they did on Earth. Sighing he placed the book back on the shelf, shoved his hands into his jean pockets and walked around. Everything seemed the mirror image of Earth; atom for atom. Then again it was completely different. Sighing Rizal shook his head and left.
Walking out of the library, Rizal quickly jumped back into the crowd of people and walked further into town. As he walked, he began taking notice of the things around him. Every newsstand had flashy magazines with the new fashions and tips in them, but everything was clean and pure. Everything on Htare was clean and pure, even the air and animals. Everything around Rizal made him feel sick to his stomach. Picking up his pace, Rizal walked upon a school that was letting out and stopped. He smiled and winked at a few girls that passed by him. Each girl looked at him and moved away quickly. He frowned and turned his attention to the doors.
He waited outside the school for a few minutes before a boy with black hair, glasses and a book shoved in his face walked out. Rizal fell into step next to the boy and smiled. “Hello Roy.” He said slyly. Roy stopped and pulled the book down from his face. His eyes were a harsh gray color and his lips were a pink shade. He looked over at Rizal slowly; his lips pulled tightly in a thin line.
“What do you want?” he hissed.
Rizal shrugged and began to walk one again. “I figured since you’re the only one I know here, that you’d help me out while I’m on my quest.”
Roy shook his head as he walked beside Rizal. “That’s not happening. Look, I’m through with all that. After I came here by accident, I decided to stay and start over. I don’t want to get involved with that anymore.”
Rizal rolled his eyes and shoved his hands into his pockets. “Come on me,” He began whining. “We know the truth and as much as you want to deny it, you can’t forget. All these people are living a lie. It’s just a parallel universe, nothing here is real.”
Roy ducked his head as he picked his pace up, trying to keep up with Rizal. “Don’t talk about that aloud. This is not just a parallel universe Rizal. It is a true, real life place and the people here are just as real. This is the world Our Father originally wanted to create. It’s the perfect world that Earth could not be.”
Rizal laughed, amused with his friends comments. “Roy, do you honestly believe that? Scientists have been researching, time travel, parallel universes and mirrored worlds for centuries on Earth. This place is just a figment of our imaginations and tricks.”
Roy huffed as he shook his head. “You’ll soon find out on your own Rizal; we all do.”
Rizal paused in though, as he watched his friend walk ahead of him. A perfect world that followed the Ten Commandments; it couldn’t exist right? There was so much proof back on Earth that proved everything that happened in history; documents, letters, tests, etc. Here everything was perfect; even the air. The people followed every word their beloved Father told them to follow. A slow devilish grin spread across Rizal’s face. If this all was true, then he was about to corrupt every being in the world of Htrae.
Picking up his pace, he caught up with Roy and bent down close to his friend’s ear.
“I’m going to create the apocalypse of Htrae.” He whispered.
Roy shook his head. “Rizal, I beg of you, do not destroy the perfect world the Father wants us to live in.”
Rizal shrugged as if he had no choice. “Sorry Roy, it was great talking with you. When you finally decide to join me, come find me. I’ll be rewriting the Ten Commandments.”
Quickly Rizal ran down the side was and through the people on a mission. Roy stood there watching his friend run off. He sighed as he shook his head.
“Please Father, help Rizal become good.” He muttered before walking into the café on his right.

Rizal hummed happily, as he walked through the crowds of people. He now understood why his Lord chose him for the quest. As he passed a few people, he would look them dead in the eyes and smile. They all looked away quickly, which entertained Rizal and made him laugh. Quickly he entered a radio station and looked at the wall map. The room he looked for; the broadcast room; was on the fourth floor. Whistling a happy tune, he walked over to the elevator, pushed the up button, and waited for the doors to open. When the doors did open, two women walked out giggling. Rizal whistled at them before entering the elevator. He pushed the fourth button and stepped back, waiting for the doors to close. He elevator music was a happy tune, which made Rizal’s stomach turn.
The doors opened and Rizal walked out into the hall down toward the broadcasting room. Opening the heavy wood door, Rizal stepped into the room as he looked around at the many worried and puzzled faces of the people around him. He smiled nervously nodded his head.
“I’m here for the afternoon show.” He said shyly.
Everyone sighed with relief and smiled as they whispered amongst themselves. He bowed his head and waved shyly as he moved closer to the doors that lead to the recording studio. A man sat behind a microphone at a large desk with headphones on. He seemed to be in his fifties; with a body of a twenty year old. He had a full head of brown hair and straight, white teeth.
“Today ladies and gentlemen, we have a special guest with us. His name is Dr. Richie.” The man said in a loud, announcer voice.
Rizal smiled and took a seat behind the extra microphone, putting the headphones on.
“So Dr. Richie, what are you going to talk to us about today?” he asked with a joyful smile spread across his face.
Rizal smiled back and leaned closer to the microphone.
“Today my listeners, I’m going to talk about Our Father.”
The host smiled wider. “That’s a great topic Dr. Richie. Tell us, what great things have you found about Our Father?”
Rizal smiled evilly. “I found that there is more than one higher power, or so there was.”
The smile from the announcers face fell. “Dr. Richie, I’m afraid you are mistaking.”
Rizal shook his head. “No my dear listeners, I’m afraid I am not mistaking. Our Father killed off all his siblings so he could have the greater power. One by one, he killed them off to gain total control over everything. Then his fellow angels tried to tell him he was out of control with the power and he banned them as dark should; claiming they were trying to be better than him. There is another Lord, the Lord of Evil. He is Our Father’s brother and fellow angel. He is the truth, he is the way.”
The announcer made a cutting motion with his hand across his throat telling the people at the soundboard to cut. He then turned back to Rizal and frowned.
“Dr. Richie, I don’t know what kind of doctor you are, but I will not have you talking like that on my radio station. Please get out of here now.”
Rizal bowed his head and stood. “As you wish.” He said sarcastically, moving toward the door. He left the building quickly and quietly, not wanting any attention attracted to him. When he entered the streets, he took in a deep breath, finally feeling the shift in the air. He let the air out happily and stepped into the crowd of people around him.
With a large smiled he looked at the man walking next to him. “Did you hear that doctor guy? He was talking about there being another Father.”
The man looked at Rizal confused and picked up his pace, moving away from him. Rizal smiled wider and looked at the woman on his other side. “There’s been a new discovery. Our Father has a brother.”
The woman looked at her feet and moved quicker away as well. Rizal chuckled and ran across the street, following behind another group of people.
“Man, wouldn’t it be great to have another Father then just the one we have? What is he had a brother?”
The people looked at him quickly before taking off at a faster pace. The air shifted once more; sending shivers up Rizal’s spin. Pulling out a cigarette, he walked down the street and lit it. A few people looked at him confused by his actions. He took a drag off the cigarette and blew it out. He then looked at the people around him and scoffed.
“You all act like you’ve never seen someone smoke before.”
Taking another drag, he blew the smoke in their faces and walked off; shoving his empty hand into his pants pockets.
