• "Um." I mumbled. "What?" he asked. His brown bunny ears were fully grown now, and it was kinda hard for me to look at them without laughing. "When is your dad coming home?" I asked. A sudden tension entered my bedroom. "Soon." he said. Times were tough for Ark now. Vanessa had run away to a friends house where she could continue her college studies and not be detected by her father. She had waited to leave for about a year now, the buissness trip was a perfect time for her. The last thing she said to Ark before leaving was "I'm sorry, but I have to go." Don't worry, they still keep connections with eachother! He groaned, suddenly laying his head on my lap. "Why does everything need to be so compliated?!" he said. I smoothed out his hair in a comforting way. "So?" I said. "So?" he looked at me. "Are you going to run or stay?" I asked. "If I run away, can I run away with you?" he asked. "Yes." I told him. He rose a hand and placed it on my cheek. I put my hand over his. "I can't believe I'm having a hard time decieding between you and him." he said, sighing. I tightened my grip on his hand slightly " You may say a lot of thing about your father, and most of them are true, but you still love him. He's your dad." I said. He sat up, taking away his hand "I don't love him!" he yelled. I sighed "Yes, you do." He turned on me "How would you know?! You killed yours!" he yelled. The tears and pain in my heart came without warning. I must've had a really sad face on because his face suddenly drained of all anger and was replaced with sorry, worry, and regret. "Jinx, I..." he tried to say. I ran, the sadness and feeeling of betrayal too bitter. It was raining as I jumped out and flew away. "Jinx!" he called, but I didn't even look back as my tears blended in with the rain.
