• Chapter One: Dropping By

The girl with long black hair travelled down the roads of Athens looking for a temple. Unfortunately for her there were a whole bunch of temple ruins, the girl pulled out her cellphone and dialed a number. She waited until she heard her Aunt’s voice asking. “Haru-chan is that you?”
“Yes baa-chan it’s me,” said the girl, she stood there with her hand on her hip. “All I see are ruins of temples.”
“Oh don’t worry,” said Haru’s aunt. “You’ll know it when you see it.”
Haru heard the dial tone and groaned, she hung up her phone and slid it into her coat pocket. She looked around before taking a step forward only to have the ground crumble beneath her. Haru screamed as she fell her hands grabbing at nothing. She fell into the ground face first groaning and cursing before sitting up. The first thing she saw was a large temple, with a large plate, with a large thunderbolt carved into it. Haru growled saying. “I hate my aunt.”
Haru walked to the temple and went inside, she looked around seeing an alter. She walked up to it seeing a slot with a crest that matched the design on her necklace, Haru took it off and looked at it saying. “Impossible.”
Despite saying that Haru placed her necklace into the slot, the alter glowed and the ground shook. Haru looked around as the hall brightened and a loud laugh resounded throughout the halls. First a woman appeared, she had long brown hair and eyes. Next came a woman that radiated with beauty, she had long blonde hair and crystal blue eyes. Haru blinked and rubbed her eyes as more people appeared. Last a man with long almost white hair and silver blue eyes came out. He was very young looking, he looked around at the people grinning, Haru snatched the necklace off the alter and placed it in her coat pocket next to her cellphone. The silver haired man turned and looked at her holding out a lily asking. “Hello there young lady, what is your name?
Haru reached out and crushed the lily saying. “Inuzuka Haru, anata dare?”
“What did she say?” asked the man, he called forth a young man with short blonde hair. “Hermes what is she saying?”
“She is asking who you are,” said the man, Haru rolled her eyes as the silver haired man nodded saying. “My name is Zeus, young lady.”
“As in the Greek God?” asked Haru, Zeus nodded in confusion. “Why don’t I believe you Tamaki.”
“Are you sure you don’t want believe us?” asked a calm cold voice behind Haru causing her to scream. The people in the hall to chuckle, this caused Haru to grow embarrassed, she backed up quietly before sneaking to the entrance.
“Don’t leave!” roared Zeus, Haru groaned as she turned around. “Where are you going?”
“To call my aunt,” said Haru taking her phone out and holding it up, Zeus ran over and snatched the phone from her hands and began to look at it. “give it back, now.”
“No,” said Zeus before turning around and ran towards the back of the temple, Haru began to chase after him but she couldn’t catch up. She stopped to catch her breath and decided to head back, she turned around and noticed one very important thing. She was lost, Haru groaned realizing that she didn’t have anyway to get back to the entrance of the temple.
“GET BACK HERE!” screamed Haru, there was no response. “I NEED YOUR HELP!”
Haru looked around hoping to see someone running towards her but no one came. Haru felt for the wall but instead her hand met something squishy.
“Eww,” said Haru, she pulled out a flashlight from her pocket and turned it on. She faced it towards what she thought to be the wall but instead found a large frog. Haru’s eye twitched before she screamed. “WHY IS THERE A GIANT FROG HERE? THIS IS NOT AN ANIME!”
Haru punched the frog but it didn’t budge from its spot so Haru tried a different approach, she glared at the frog and said. “I know a good way to cook a giant frog like you, now tell me do you want to die?”
The frog looked scared, Haru gave it an evil smirk and the frog hopped away. She didn’t feel happy at all instead she felt even more irritated when she first stopped for breath.
“You’ll never catch him,” said a voice, Haru looked around in the empty tunnel. “He left you and soon they will all leave you just like you parents did.”
“I am ignoring whoever is talking,” said Haru, the voice didn’t speak again as Haru walked around. Finally she managed to find Zeus who was sitting there staring at her cellphone with a big grin on his face. With he saw Haru he just waved at her, Haru groaned and smacked her forehead, Zeus ran over to her.
“Did you know that this weird device makes music and vibrates?” asked Zeus, Haru groaned saying. “Yes I did know, can you please give it back?”
“No,” said Zeus, Haru sighed. “I want to hold it some more.”
“I need to see if there is even any... wait,” said Haru as she realized something. “Did you say it made noise.”
“Yes it did,” said Zeus, Haru held out her hand. “I’m still not giving it to you.”
“That device maybe the way I get out of here and away from you,” said Haru, Zeus pouted, the pout didn’t make any difference to Haru, okay so she had to make sure that he wasn’t some creep. “And so I can show you guys to my Aunt so she will have some idea on what you guys are.”
“Who is your Aunt?” asked Zeus, Haru just snapped her fingers impatiently and Zeus handed over the cellphone. Haru opened it up and saw that there was one bar, she groaned as she put her cellphone away.
“We have to get out of these tunnels if I want to make a call that will actually go through,” said Haru, Zeus pouted. “By the way do you know the way out of this place and back into the temple?”
“No,” said Zeus, Haru stared at him. “I thought you would know.”
“You think I would know the way out?” asked Haru, Zeus nodded. “I thought this was your temple though.”
“Nope not mine,” said Zeus looking around. “This temple was built in order to contain us.”
“Built by who?” asked Haru, Zeus shrugged. “Are you sure you’re alright?”
“Yes, why?” asked Zeus, Haru shrugged not knowing why she just said that. She began walking down the tunnel she came passing the giant frog who gave a weary glance at Haru who just waved at it. Zeus looked at it and the frog vanished, Zeus shrugged his shoulders before following Haru. Haru looked around and realized once again she had gotten lost, this time however she blamed it on Zeus. If that man, person, god, thing hadn’t ran off with her cellphone she wouldn’t be in this situation at all.
Hermes waited patiently but when no one returned he went out to look for them, when he entered the tunnels he began patiently listening for signs of Zeus nearby. As he travelled further into the tunnels he made sure to mark his way by using a rock near the entrance he found.
“I told you I get lost easily,” said the familiar voice of Haru, another voice responded. “You should have told me that in the first place.”
“I did when you thought that I knew the way out, besides if you hadn’t ran off with my cellphone in the first place we wouldn’t be in this mess now would we?” said Haru, Hermes chuckled. “Who’s there?”
“It is I Hermes,” said Hermes, he heard Zeus running towards the sound of his voice and he got pounced on by Zeus with Haru close behind him glaring at Zeus.
“Thankfully there are people worried about you out there,” said Haru before walking back to the entrance of the temple. She walked out of the temple only to be pulled back in by Zeus who shouted. “You have to meet everyone before you leave!”
“I am not really interested in meeting anyone you know,” said Haru with an annoyed tone but allowed herself to be dragged back to the temple. “But it looks like I don’t really have a choice in the matter now do I?”
“It doesn’t look like that now,” said a depressing voice as a cold hand touched her shoulder causing Haru to freak out. “Sorry for scaring you.”
“Ah Hades you scared her,” said Zeus, Hades looked depressed then walked away, Zeus laughed. “Don’t worry Hades can be scary sometimes but he his just depressing.”
“Alright will you shut up already,” said Haru, she glanced over at the man and gave him a small smile. Hades had semi long black hair, it stopped right beneath the shoulder blades, pale skin, and red eyes.
“Next is Hestia,” said Zeus dragging Haru over to the woman with brown hair and brown eyes. “She is the eldest of my siblings.
“It is an honor to meet you,” said Hestia smiling at Haru, she looked over at Zeus. “Why are you dragging her around Zeus?”
“Because she needs to know about us,” said Zeus, Hestia gave Haru a small look of pity before Haru was dragged away again. She was dragged to a teen with short burnt sienna hair and slightly tan skin, the first thing that came into her mind was ‘future bishounen’.
“Haru this is my son Hephaestus,” said Zeus in a not so proud voice, this was the moment when Haru decided to voice her thoughts and say. “Future Bishounen.”
“Hermes translation again!” whined Zeus, Hermes held back a smile as he said. “She said future pretty boy.”
“Why do you think that?” asked Zeus, Haru looked at him saying. “Wait until you meet my Aunt’s friends, they can take him and turn him into a bishounen like Yumichika.”
“Most likely a reference to something only the future generation knows about,” said a woman with long amethyst hair and eyes. “My name is Hera.”
“The goddess of fertility and marriage, wife of Zeus, mother of Hephaetus,” said Haru reading out of her large book before looking up at the Mother goddess and closing it. “Boy do I feel sorry for you.”
“I see our legend lived on,” said Hera glancing at the books title before Haru was dragged away by Zeus again to a man with fiery red hair.
“This is Ares,” said Zeus proudly, Ares looked at his father then back at Haru before saying. “I still can’t believe that this girl has the ability to release us.”
“Yeah well live with it cry baby,” said Haru, the woman with long blonde hair walked up causing Ares to get distracted from what he was going to say. “This must be Aphrodite judging by the way she looks.”
“How smart you are little girl,” said Aphrodite in a haughty voice, Haru just glared in her direction before yawning. “How rude.”
“Live with it,” said Haru, before getting dragged away by Zeus yet again, they came up to a man with golden hair and a woman with long silver hair.
“These two are Apollo and Artemis,” said Zeus looking at Haru who looked back saying. “The god of the sun, music, and medicine. The goddess of the moon, hunt, and maidens.”
“You forgot to add how amazing I am,” said Apollo, Haru groaned then grinned as Apollo was kicked by his sister. Haru waved as she was dragged off again this time to a woman with wheat gold hair and pale gold eyes.
“This is my sister Demeter,” said Zeus, Haru bowed in respect, this was the goddess she loved and looked up to. “Wow that was a new reaction.”
“Hey little bro what about me?” asked a man with blue-white hair that stopped at mid back and he had blue eyes like his brother.
“Judging by the fact that you are the last male in this room to even relate to Zeus you must be Poseidon, God of the Sea, Earthquakes, and Horses,” said Haru, Poseidon smiled as he smashed a hand down on Haru’s hair and moved it side to side messing up the asians hair causing the girl to growl.
“Dionysus get over here,” said Zeus as Haru tried batting Poseidon’s hand away but it didn’t work. A man around Haru’s height with long light purple hair and matching eyes stumbled towards them and draped an arm around Haru. Haru groaned as she smelled alcohol on his breath and it gave her a slight headache.
“God of wine, theatre, and ecstasy, the famous pretty boy Dionysus,” said Haru moving the God’s face away from hers. “Can you get him off of me?”
A hand shot out and grabbed his ear, a woman with evergreen hair and silver eyes pulled him away from Haru.
“Your breath can knock anyone out,” said the woman, Haru looked around counting how many people were in the room before saying. “You must be Athena the Goddess of Wisdom, Warfare, and Crafts.”
“Correct,” said Athena, she looked at Haru’s coat as if it intrigued her. “How is this coat able to hold such a large book?”
“I don’t know,” said Haru, she looked at all the gods and goddesses before asking. “Let me say that I believe you. How did you guys get sealed anyways?”
“I just remember Hestia getting really angry,” said Zeus shivering, Dionysus broke free from Athena’s grip and slung his arm once again around Haru’s shoulder.
“I remember it all,” said Dionysus bringing his other arm up. “There was an epic fight, two guys climbing up a mountain to throw a ring into a volcano. I fought valiantly along side the white wizard.”
“I don’t think that is what happened,” mumbled Haru, trying to get her face away from Dionysus. “That is from Lord of the Rings.”
“What’s that?” asked Dionysus, when Haru didn’t answer he shrugged before taking a swig from his wine bottle.
Suddenly the cellphone rang causing Haru to shake off the two Gods before reaching into her pocket and pulling out her cellphone.
“Haru where are you?” asked her Aunt, Haru glared at the phone when she heard her Aunt’s cheerful tone. “And there is now use glaring at me over the phone. I can’t see it.”
“Look for the large hole in the ground,” said Haru before snapping her phone shut and walking out of the temple. “Are you guys coming or what?”
Haru walked down the long stairway until she came across the entrance to the hole and looked up. She sighed before feeling around noticing that there were no rocks for her to get a good grip on. Ares, who had been following her this entire time, decided to try and climb up, unfortunately before he could reach the top he slipped all the way back down.
“How did you survive the fall?” asked Ares looking at Haru, Haru looked at him saying. “I was standing on really soft dirt when it collapsed under me, plus I trained in order to land properly in situations like this.”
“Amazing,” said the voice again, Haru sighed as she looked up only to be facing her Aunt. “How did you make a hole this big Haru? Did you punch the ground or did you just through a big fit when you knew you wouldn’t be getting your way this time?”
“Very funny, how long have you been standing up there Aunt Oracle?” asked Haru, her aunt smiled and waved at her as the other gods walked up.
“It has been a while Apollo,” said the Oracle suddenly growing serious as her eyes landed on the golden boy.
“Does this awesomely fabulous god know such a beautiful woman?” asked Apollo, Aunt Oracle glared down at him. “More importantly, who are you and how do you know who I, Apollo the magnificent golden prodigy of music and the one who moves the sun, am?”
“Simple you long winded brat,” said Aunt Oracle. “I am your oracle who lived in the temple of Delphi. And if you don’t believe me I will tell Haru all embarrassing things you have done since you found me. Trust me I have lived over a thousand years young god and flattery won’t get you anywhere.”
“Well there was a reason why you were adopted into my mother’s family,” said Haru not really shocked at her Aunt’s outrage, she was shocked that her aunt was the Oracle of Apollo. “So that was the reason why every time you answered the phone you knew who it was down the the last sales person.”
“Yeah that is why,” said Aunt Oracle, she tossed down a rope ladder, Haru grabbed on and began climbing up. “Good thing I knew where you were and brought a rope ladder.”
Haru reached the top and turned to ask her Aunt a question, Aunt Oracle looked at her and said. “No you can’t leave them down there.”
“Darn you,” said Haru, she looked down in the hole and reached a hand out helping Hera out of the hole. Haru stepped to the side to allow the Mother Goddess aside before beginning to help up the other gods and goddesses to the surface.
As Athena got to the surface she looked behind the doubled colored eye girl and yelled. “HARU WATCH OUT!”
Haru turned her head briefly to see a very ugly woman with snakes for hair launching said snakes towards her.
