• School's over and I head back to my dorm. I'm laughing with Christina about how Mrs. Frinsky actually mooned everyone in class. Hilarious! I accidentally knock into someone in front of me.

Without looking at them, I said, "Sorry!"

    "You're welcome." THAT VOICE!

I spin around, and there he is again! All I can think is, "Please don't tell me he goes to this school!"

I turn around and keep walking to my dorm. Christina pulls my shirt.

"Who is that hottie?" she flipped her hair.

"I honestly do not know." I sounded completely clueless. Which I was.

"Come on! You gotta know SOMETHING about him!"

"Fine." I stop and turn to her. "I've been seeing him every day, for more than 2 weeks now. I swear he is either a stalker, or a ladies man. I'm in love!" I turn and keep walking. Christina hastily walks next to me.

"Well, that's gotta mean something, right?"

If there's anything I've learned in Mr. Bongher's class, yes. It does.

    ************

In bed. Covers tucked around my chin, hands in front of my chest, legs tucked in, and all cuddled up and warm and cozy and...

    tinkle..... tinkle.... tinkle.....

What's that? I sit up. Is somebody in the room?

    tinkle...tinkle....tinkle....

I look to the window. Little pebbles are being thrown. I slowly get up and walk to the window. I open the window panels out, and look down. There he is. Again. Sitting casually on the ground, throwing pebbles at my window. I roll my eyes.

"Who are you?" I whisper loudly.

He looks at me straight in the eye and says, "Nobody." Then he looks down at a red envelope in his lap. "Someone you don't know." He smiles.

"What's the envelope?" I ask, curious.

"I don't know. Maybe you should open it." He grins.

"Maybe you could somehow fly it up to me?" I ask.

"Nope. I'm not moving." He lies on the ground with his hands behind his head.

I hop up and down. I really want that letter! I hastily change into my night-walking clothes (a white dress and white flats. Yes, I know. Odd.) And quietly sneak my way outside. I come to the spot where he is, and he turns his head to look at me.

"Gonna give me the letter now?" I ask.

"No. First you gotta sit down." He turns to look at the moon and the stars.

My mind twists and turns. What do I do? Without thinking for a minute, I sit down and put my hand out to him. He gently takes hold of it, and places the unopened envelope in my hand. I clutch it and start to unravel the white ribbon.

"I don't know if you'll like it." He says, not looking at me.

I smile inside, and giggle on the outside. I open the letter and start to read.

    "Dear Aphrodite,
You may not know me, but I know you and I see each other more than we've expected. Perhaps you would like it if we became friends. Maybe even more than friends. I don't exactly know how to say this, paper to pen, but... I guess you could say that I love you... in a weird sort of way. I don't know why or how, but I do. I hope you accept my gift of love.

    With all my heart,
    Austin Gyusre"

First of all, coolest last name ever! Second of all... tears were all over the letter. Tears of his when he wrote it, tears of mine when I read it. I sniffled and carefully tucked the letter inside the envelope. I held it close to my chest.

"You like it?" I asked, his eyes closed, waiting for the right answer.

I looked over at him. "Yes."
