• "So this is our new friend," Xemnas said slyly. "I'm sure she'll be of good use for us." he gave a mischevious smile which made me cringe.

What did he mean by being of good use?

"We're getting ready to see Xion right now, sir." Roxas said.

Xemnas nodded and turned his back to walk away. "Remember who you truly are, Amara."

I made a confused face at his back and glared at him. Remember who I truly am? This just doesn't make any since. I turned to Roxas and felt awkward about what happened earlier. I wanted to say something, but there was a lump in my throat.

He noticed and smiled at me. "Aw, don't worry about it. I understand why you would think that."

I shook my head, ashamed of my actions. "I'm sorry."

Roxas looked at me with wide eyes and shrugged. "C'mon. We'd better go see Xion."

I nodded and followed him to the big white door.

The room, of course, was white, and had a long table that stretched across the whole room. There was a chair on each end, and a girl, (Xion?), was sitting in one of them with her head down.

I looked back at Roxas, unsure, and he pushed me forward. "Go sit down."

I sat on the other end and was startled to see her head rise immediatly after my butt touched the seat. The way her head rose was creepy. It rose slowly, as if she were awakening from the dead. I shifted uncomfortably in my seat.

"Hello, Amara." she said without any emotion.

    "Um,hi."

"We've been expecting you. Do you know why you're here?"

    I shook my head. "No. I don't."

She smiled for the first time and lay here small hands on the white table."You, Amara are a very special...being." she crossed her arms over her chest. "Do you know what a Nobody is?"

I shook my head again, feeling stupid.

"Nobodies are beings that are only half a person. They cannot feel any emotions like a whole being. The beings you have seen in this fortress are all Nobodies. We are a group called Organization 13." she smiled at me, looking me straight in the eyes. "And you are one of us now."

I shifted again in my seat, wondering what it meant to be in the Organization. I'm a Nobody? "But... I don't remember even becoming a Nobody."

She nodded. "That is normal for Nobodies like you. See, I don't remember my past either, and neither does Roxas."

I glanced at Roxas and saw that he was looking the other way, as if he were ashamed.

"You and Roxas are very similar in ways. You have connections to each other. Deep and special connections. When you two are together, you are indestructable."

Connections...Invincible...Hmmm...What does it all lead to?

"We, Organization 13, are searching desperatly for something. Do you know what that something is? Kingdom Hearts."

"Kingdom Hearts..." I said to myself.

Xion nodded and continued. " We think Kingdom Hearts will make us whole again, and give us meaning in life. This means we will be able to feel." she lay her hands on her lap. "We may think that you may be able to feel those emotions. Just like Roxas. Which is a miracle to us because we think that you two are the key to Kingdom Hearts."

I thought about what she said and a question popped in my head. "Um, how did I become a Nobody?"

Xion tapped her fingers against the table. "I think you should figure that out on your own."

I dropped my shoulders a little and stared at my hands. How will I find out?
"Now," Xion clasped her hands together. "I think I'm finished with the talking. Now, I have to give your new name."

    "New name?"

Xion walked in front of me and held out hand. I saw a bright flash and my name suddenly appeared.
"This is your old name, and this..." she moved her hand in circles, shuffling the letters. "...is your new name."

I saw my new name and out of nowhere I smiled, as if I were waiting for this my whole life. There was something different about my name though. An X was added to it.

    "Welcome to the Organization, Xarama."
