• Ugh. I didnt know places smelled this bad. I also didnt know that I could get headaches this bad. It felt like if I closed my eyes, my pains would go away. But I couldnt stop moving. We couldnt stop moving. If they caught us I dont know what I would do. Right now it was run or be killed. But I wanted to sit down. It hurts. I cant stand this pain.
"Ah. Can we take a break?" asks Brenda. I was glad that I wasnt the one who asked.
"We cant stop now. I dont know about you but I do not want to be caught." said Michael.
"How about we take a vote. If more than half of us say we need to take a break, we need to take a break." I said. There were seven of us so if four of us said we should take a break, hooray for me. "Who thinks we should sit for a while and then once we all catch our breath, we can go." Six of us, including me, raised our hands. Every one of us except for Michael. "Dont be such a pain Michael. You know we need the break. If we're out of energy, we cant run anymore." He awkwardly raised his hand. "Thats better."
We situated inside an abandoned warehouse down the street from where we were. We all fell flat on the floor. I closed my eyes and relaxed. It was minutes of silence. I felt some one laying down next to me. I opened my eyes to see Michael sitting there watching me.
    "Hey."
"You okay Michael?" He looked worried.
"I want you to not look around the room. Im only saying this cause its for your own safety that you keep your eyes closed. Think about... releasing something."
I started to get up. "Michael whats wro--" Thats when I saw it. They decayed form rising from the ground. It looked like it had been there for months. It was trying to get up into a upside down dog position. I looked at Michael and he looked strangely calm as if none of this was bothering him.
"Dont look at the other ones." was all he said. I looked around and was preparing to scream when one came from behind me. Brenda was up and she was looking around us.
"What is going on? Who are they?" She was hysterical.
"Marie you have to put them back." Michael said to me. "You have to put them back now."
"What do you mean? I didnt bring them here. I dont know who did."
"Yeah it was you. Just think about releasing spirits and making them exit the bodies. Think about that." I closed my eyes and thought about pulling a flower out of a patch. It was hard like if the flower didnt want to come out. I pulled harder and it came out. In the real world I heard bodies fall on the floor. I opened my eyes and one of the bodies was laying next to my foot. I screamed. I, Marie Hartman, could raise the dead. Ew! I turned around and there was a body right where my head would be if I was laying down. I fainted.
