• The sound of pages fluttering in the breeze filled his head as he sifted through a large stack of papers. Pushing his glasses back up his nose, he sighed, "I can never find those damned applications when I'm looking for them." Spotting a rather old looking pile of books in the corner moving the blonde, green eyed man tossed a journal at it. As he did so a knock was heard at the door to his study also known as his work shop, " Professor Amaranta, the students are here." A rather tall woman opens the door just in time to see the pile of books hit the floor. Eying Amaranta she turned around and beckoned a group of people into the room which resembled a steampunk work shop. Straightening up the professor smiled, "Alas fresh young minds!" As soon as the room had been filled he began to talk, slowly at first but soon rose into a passionate speech. The eyes of each young man and woman lit with an amazed light of curiosity as the speech progressed. Gesturing towards a gigantic map covering most of the wall behind him, he broke the silence that had blanketed the room. "The world is for those willing to stand up and take it," smiling he gazed at them all with such an intense wisdom, " On your journey to finding your true path in life remember this:
Stay safe, stay careful, stay alive, and good luck my fellow adventurers, historians, scientists, and explorerers. May every rock you come across lead to an awe aspiring adventure, for that little rock may hold the key to your very future."

    Two months later...

A slow, jagged funeral procession worn it's way towards the town's cemetery carrying Professor Chase Amaranta. The overcast sky began to cry it's cold tears, but these tears could not match those of his assistant, Leon Dynasty, who was almost considered Chase's adopted son. But Leon's tears were not just of pain and sorrow, they were of rage. For the professor had been killed on a recent trip back to an old town from early in his career. Having the professor dying after being stabbed in the back enraged this poor boy beyond measure. Chase had died because he had known too much about what happened two thousand years before. Leon had learned from his journals that what everyone believed to be a safe, reliable country was falling apart, and it all started with Professor Chase Amaranta's birth. The choker around his neck's cogs began to rotate for the first time.
