• A haunting song rose from the stream. The melody wove its way through the forest searching for a lover. It had come across a traveler who had recently fallen on hard times. The song quickened with excitement as it washed over the man who suddenly felt rejuvenated. The song whispered sweet meaningless nothings in his ear promising him everything he wanted in his heart. As he progressed to the lake quickening his pace with every step the voice had him strip to nothing to bathe the stream. By this time he was in such euphoria it didnt matter. He dipped into the stream wading in up to his waist . As he waited two delicately built hands of water rose and wrapped around his torso like a woman would hug her man from behind. As he stood there savoring the feeling of brisk stream water cleaning his flesh and washing away his anxieties slowly the torso and head formed of water then solidified into a being of flesh and blood. When the siren said the mans name his voice sounded like a million songbirds the pitch rolling up and down the decibel scale. he called out to the wayward traveler, he told told him of the pleasure the man would know should he stay in the river, and as just a precautionary measure he dragged his fingertips up the mans chest leaving trails of ecstatic euphoria that would spread over him. He traced the mans lips with his fingers reminding him how lonely he had been before he heard the voice. The siren dropped any semblance of clothes to the water pushing his bare pale smooth as satin skin up against his prisoner. The man turned and looked his new lover in the eyes. He was astonished that such a pretty sounding voice could come from a man and that the man could be equally pretty, prettier than any girl he had seen or been with in ages. He leaned over to kiss his new lover who graciously returned it. As their lips met the man felt a spark. The siren was hungry. This man he restored and made full of renewed energy was gonna feed him for at least a week he wouldn't need to eat again for another thousand years. For seven days the siren did everything in his power to satiate the mans appetites slowly feeding on the mans energy and soul devouring him piece by piece making the siren stronger. He became determined to not let the traveler die knowing fear. at the end of the week the man died quickly embracing his lover who then sent him floating downstream.
