• "When shall you accompany me to the Hall for the feast?" Burk asked cautiously.

Dina thought for a moment and responded, "When My Lord wishes me to."

He smiled at answer and nodded, as if approving. Burk moved close to her and leaned in to kiss her. Dina leaned in as well, and felt weak when their lips touched. A shiver ran though her spine as he pulled her close to increase the passion of the kiss. After what seemed like an eternity, he pulled away. "Shall we leave now then?" He asked nonchalantly.

Dina feared what her voice would sound like if she were to speak, so she simply nodded. Burk lead her away to the castle and though the corridors, back to the Great Hall just as the squires called for the meal. He took her to the upper table and sat her next to his uncle, Duke Anders. He sat next to her on her left and Dina looked at the massive room that was quickly filling up with people. They wore garments the were far finer then what she was accoustomed to and jewelery that cost more than the cottage she formerly lived in. When the room was full, Duke Anders stood and raised his hands. "My nephew has come home with a bride, and a very beautiful one at that. He has chosen the herbalist, Dina Stromal for his bride." He announced.

The entire room cast their eyes on Dina and she felt a blush creep up her face. This life will take some getting used to. She thought to herself and saw eyes full of jealousy and hate searing into her from some of the women in the Hall.
