• (He is a child...don't! There is no need for more bloodshed! Let me raise him..please it's better than the death of an innocent!)
'Innocent!? We were lucky to raid this kingdom and survive and you wish for one of them to live...after what they have done to us! If he was to grow older he could ki-..'
(If that happens...I'll do what needs to be done..)
    'As you wish Naomi...'

'Ugh..' There it was again...he had been having the same dream for nearly a month now, for some reason it always left off there, he could never recall anything before that time, he could see them standing there but only their silhouettes could he see...

(Kara?) He heard her voice calling him, she knew he had woken up. 'I'm sorry master...bad dream.'
(Put it out of your mind and get ready for your training this afternoon, it's almost time for you to become a full blood, a rare ritual indeed.)
'Yes.' There it was, his chance to become a full blooded member of his kingdom was now confirmed, he would no longer be an outcast to the rest of the people, no more strange looks from passersby.

(Remember little halfling after your ritual we are to report to throne room where you are to show the efforts of your training by sparring with kings soldiers)
'Yes Master, I have not forgotten.' He smiled lightly, a slight fang protruded from his lips. His master had always loved to battle which was passed on to him over time as he sparred with her.

    (( part 2 ))

After finishing the breakfast that his master had set before him, they exited the large stone home that lay on the outskirts of the kingdom, they both had come to grow fond of it over the years. *Listen close Kara, once this ritual is finished you will have the urge to…feed.*

Kara turned, looking at her with a quirked brow. ‘I’m not sure I understand master…-‘before he could speak another word she stopped him.

*It is something that we go through if you are of full blood. We are sustained on the blood of others little halfling…some of those that don’t understand us, call us monsters and the like. It’s funny isn’t it. We are the ones that they call to in times of war and when we protect them, they still fear us. It’s something you’ll will grow to learn and tolerate.*

Looking to the sky Kara couldn’t imagine it, he would always be hated or feared, the only person he could count on was his master. *Do not worry! There are other in this land who are like us! They have different skills than you or I, but they live like we do. Now come we must finish this if we are to make it to the palace.*

    ’Yes.’

Turning to her student and soon to be full blooded kin, Naomi placed a single finger to her own fang and pricked it just enough to where a single droplet of blood bubbled forth on her fingertip. After a few utterances of an outdated language she placed the fingertip to her students forehead. ‘Agh…it hurts…ughn…’ Trying to stand still Kara’s hands began to shake, it was almost as if his blood were on fire.

*I know this pain all to well Kara, just relax and take a deep breath. Believe it or not, the ritual is done. Now come, we must go.*

Shaking his head Kara tried to dismiss the pain, he trusted his master, he always has, he knew the pain would subside in time. ‘What will the king do if I defeat one of his soldiers?’

*Pfft, the king is nothing more than an idiot, self centered and such although he is a master strategist, he called on me to raid other lands many times before! It’s how I could afford the nice stone cabin that you and I have shared for these last nineteen seasons.*

Kara smiled weakly, the pain was now gone and his mood was lifted. His bright orange eyes lit up as he looked upon the castle gates.

    *Were here...my fullblood*

((Deciding to make more as time goes by, stay tuned for the rest =3 ))
