• Kairi was sat down in the back seat of her father's car which was slowly bumping up and down on the uneven road. The rain beated down on the windows and looked like tears falling and then vanishing, Kairi was clueless to the world she was transfixed looking out of the car window for some reason she couldn't pull away she just stared at the passers by listening to metal music which was pounding through her head phones. To block out her father and sister aruging at the front of the car muttering something every now and then that they were going the wrong way.
Her sister's voice peirced through the head phones "Dammit dad, your going to get us lost just stop will you" their father grumbled then stopped and stubbled around the glove compartment looking for a map. Today was the day were everything would change the day she moved into her new home since her mother died. Kairi was close to her then suddenly her mother had a heart attack and her whole life came crashing down like one huge ball of fire hurtling towards the Earth. Kairi didn't cry at her mothers funeral, she couldn't she was different she could never cry and had actually never cried before in her life, that didn't stop her from feeling pain though as soon as Kairi's mother died four months ago she had never spoken a word since. Not to her sister or not even to her father as far as Kairi was concerned she had no one who could understand her enough to try and make her speak they gave up as soon as they tried Kairi was a stubborn character a tall but timid girl with long black hair and smoky brown eyes. At that moment Kairi noticed a figure appear a boy her age about 16 or possibly a little older she couldn't tell, he had a well built figure built but slim his jet black hair swept over his unnatural blue eyes as he stared at her and frowned a little. Kairi knew it was rude to stare but she couldn't take her gaze off him she was drawn, Kairi shuffled in her seat and smiled at him to her surprise the boys expression changed immediately into a small warm smile which was more like a grin and dissappeared. Kairi blinked twice was she dreaming no he was real she had saw him and he was smiling at her no one had ever smiled at her like that Kairi climbed back in her seat and turned to look out the back window a loud roaring sound echoed as the engine of the car started to fire back into life it looked like her father had worked out the map. Kairi looked in desperation out the window and kept staring at the spot where the boy had been hoping that he might appear and prove to her that he was real there was just something unnatural the way he dissappeared...
