• The S.S. Speratus
The airship was amazing mid-flight. It cut through the clouds with the elegance of a swan through the soft surface of a pond. The airship was modeled similar to a bird, aside from the size of the deck it had a huge tailfin that obviously guided it in the right direction, it had not two but 18 small wings that contributed to the altitude, speed, and direction control, the was a huge thick metal balloon overhead held to the sides of the ship with several metal ropes, it was powered by nothing more than lighting circulating in its stomach, heating the air to extreme temperatures, lightning rods, which provided power, were affixed next to small vents on the balloon, which kept the pressure of the balloon from reaching catastrophic levels, the engine of the ship was similar to the balloon, though thicker and it exited to two main thrusters in the rear of the ship, other smaller emergency vents were affixed in all directions of the ship, and finally the figurehead which was once a glorious bronze eagle, now crumbling, rusted, and misshapen.
