• I leaned back against the wall, shaking my head. What have I done, my hands were stained red. Covered with blood, there blood. "What have I done." I whispered over and over. I heard the sirens and I knew I had to run and I had to leave and never return. I got up and went to the bathroom, I didn't recognize the face looking at me. Her eyes were cold and dark, her face twisted into a masochistic smile. I washed my hands, scratching the blood off of them. The sirens went off and I went out the back window not daring to look back. I was a monster

    *****3 months later*****

I walked into the small restaurant and sat down at the bar.

"What can I get for you ma'am?" The bartender asked.

"Glass of your house wine." He nodded and pulled out a glass and put in front of me, then poured a bit of red wine in it. "Thanks." I took a drink and looked at the menu. "Can I also get a 7 oz. steak medium rare."

"Yeah it will be with you soon." I sighed and took another drink. The door opened and I watch a man with messy black hair and bright green eyes, he was wearing a pair of worn blue jeans, a black t-shirt, and a worn leather jacket. He sat down next me, his eyes drifted to meet mine, but then went to the menu in front of him. I waited for my steak while talking to the bartender. I saw the boy look over at us every now and then. His face was torn and tired looking, like he was always fighting or running. his eyes gave off a dark look, almost matching mine. His vibes were darker but I ignored it. My steak finally came and I ate it quickly. I paid and got ready to leave. The door slammed opened and I looked at the door. I sighed and curled my hands into fists.

"Look who it is." A man with dirty blond hair said. He slammed me against a wall. "Why don't you give in to what you really are."

"Cause I am not an animal." I hissed. I grabbed the dagger I was hiding and stabbed him in the stomach and ran out. He had the place surrounded. "Great."

"You running, too?" The guy from the bar asked. He smiled and me, then his eyes went silver and his body morphed into a large black wolf. I followed his actions and transformed, into my large silver wolf. We stood next to each other. He howled out and others howls answered. follow me he thought. He charged through three men and I followed closely.

We got the woods and I followed him through, until we meet up with two others wolves. I suddenly felt like I was not alone, that I was safe. We got to a small village. He changed back and grabbed a pair of pants from a cloths line, he tossed me a pair of blue jeans and a worn t-shirt. I took them and changed back, then put my clothes on.

"What is this place?" I asked. He smiled.

"A safe place for people like us." He said. "I'm Ryan." He shook my hand. He led me through the camp, explaining what it was. Most of the them were like me. Only a few were actually human, for once I didn't feel alone. Though I man in the far caught my eye, he had long white-blond hair, and was playing with a wolf pup. He looked up at me, he had three long scars going down his face, over his powerful overtaking grey-red eyes.

"Who's that?" I asked Ryan, he looked at me and sighed.

"That's Talon, he's the leader here. He is quite powerful, took me in when he found me running in the forest. He doesn't talk much." I nodded. "But lets sit down." He pulled a stool over for me.

"Thanks." I sat down, and he decided to sit on the grass next to me. "I never knew that there were so many of us. That man in the bar, he was the first one I met like me. With this stupid curse inside of me."

"It's not a curse." A rough voice said. I looked up to see Talon. "Its a gift. If the man told you otherwise then he does not know what he is talking about."

"You people do not understand. I killed my family!" I yelled. "You people are all alike. It's not a bloody gift, its a curse that makes you kill the people you love!"

"You just have no control." Talon said, I laughed and wiped my eyes.

"Oh, come on. I have plenty of control. The only time I transform is when I have, too. I have plenty of control." I recoiled. Talon laughed at me.

"Then why did you kill you family." I closed my eyes and ignored everything that he said, making sure I didn't do anything stupid. He was such an a**.

"Tal, leave her alone." I heard Ryan whisper. "She just needs her eyes opened to the good of our world."

"I guess so." I knew he left, I opened my eyes again and sighed. Looking into the fire.

"Thanks." I said to Ryan. He nodded. "What's his problem." I looked across the way at Talon who was talking to two girls.

"Hard to explain, like I said he doesn't talk much." I laughed.

"That's not what I get." He frowned. "What?"

"Nothing." He smiled at a girl with long brown hair who sat across from us. "I'll talk to you later." He got up and walked over to her, kissing her on the lips and then sitting next to her, his arms wrapped around her. She rested her head against me. I sighed and went back to looking at the fire, of course he was taken. He was good looking and sweet. I heard Talon laugh, he was sitting by himself studying me. Won't he get a life.

"So your our newest sister." A short red haired girl said sitting down next to me. She handed me a plate of food. "I'm Ren."

"Sophia." I took a bite. "Thanks for the food."

"No prob." He smiled at me. "You are also my new roomie."

"Cool." Time seemed to pass quickly with everyone. Ryan and his girlfriend Erica joined us, along with two boy Eric and Greg. They all joked around, and for once in a long time I laughed at something funny. I enjoyed myself.
