• The first thing I noticed was her hair. It tumbled down her back like a sparkling black waterfall, glistening in the sun. I wanted to reach out and touch it, to see if it was as soft as I thought it’d be. I didn’t think anything could be as beautiful as her hair. Then she turned around.
Her skin was pale, like cream or milk yet didn’t look unnatural. Her eyes were large, surrounded by the longest eyelashes I’d ever seen. The irises were a pale colour, blue or grey, but I couldn’t see from where I was sitting. Her mouth was medium sized and quite plump yet the lips looked hard. They were pressed together in an annoyed pout – it was the sexiest pout I’d ever seen.
Her body was the perfect shape. She was managed to be tall and elegant without being a giant. She was slim with gentle curves; her breasts, however, weren’t small. Her legs were long and looked like they were carved of marble they were so smooth. Like her face they were extremely pale but didn’t look pasty. She reminded me a little of Penelope Cruz, apart from with really fair skin.
I could feel the people around me start to murmur at the sight of her. I wished I could turn around and see what Caitlyn’s reaction was but I couldn’t tear my eyes away from the new girl. “Leila,” she replied in a beautiful singing voice. She smiled and for a second I swear my heart stopped. Just for a second.
“If you’d all make sure you help Leila feel at home,” continued Mr Davis, “it would be a great help.” His voice was in a tone that let you know all hell would be to pay if you didn’t look after her. “I need two volunteers to show her around for the rest of the week.”
My hand shot up like a dart, as did every other boy’s. A few girls lazily raised their hand in a way that implied they couldn’t really be bothered. I could see Mr Davis looking around for the more sensible people to choose. His gaze settled on me and I could hear his thoughts.
Luc wouldn’t do anything. He’s a sensible boy and, anyway, he’s got a girlfriend.
“Luc and Amber,” said Mr Davis finally. “Start with a tour of the school.”
As we nodded in agreement, Leila searched for each of us. Amber smiled widely, though slightly falsely. As Leila’s pale eyes locked onto mine, a million thoughts of longing flashed through me. I wished we were alone and I could take her in my arms and…
