• Roku jumped down from the tree. He picked up his kunai, and began once again to walk to the field. Well, Roku said to himself, I thought that went quite well. He was thinking about the fight when again, he saw a commotion on the roof next to him. Ah dammit, Roku said to himself again, do they even want me to fight Palumaru? Roku got out 3 kunai, to take out anyone planning to stop him. “Well,” he yelled, “Show yourself!” And down jumped Ai. He immediately put his kunai back, and his muscles loosened. “Geez Roku kun,” she said, a little hurt, “I was just stopping to say hi,” He sighed, and looked up, smiling at her, “I’m sorry Ai, Palu’s little snots are everywhere, and I thought you were one of them.” He looked her over. She was wearing skin tight black lace type things, and a short, very tight shirt. He had a kunai in her hand also. “Planning to kill me?” He joked. She smiled, and went up to him to give him a friendly hug. He and Ai had always been friends, since they had been in school. “So, what’s with this fight that’s going on?” Roku explained everything. She made a ‘thinking’ face. “Hm,” she said. Roku added, “I’m heading over there right now,” “Really? It’s right now? Ok, well I’ll be there.” He made a small laugh, “Now pretty much everyone in the past 2 years of graduates will be there.” She smiled and rubbed his hair, “Well, more people to witness you kicking his butt!” He smiled back, “Ya, I guess so,” “Believe me, there is no way he’s going to beat you.” He was silent. She smiled again and shifted away. He rubbed his head, better not screw this up Roku, he said to himself, or you’ll never be able to show your face around here anymore. Well, better get over there.
Palumaru was sitting at about the middle of the field. He had at least 15 people with him that were talking and laughing with him. There was an even amount of Roku’s supporters as well. There were others, of course, that weren’t necessarily going for one side, or another. That crowd was about 20-30 people. Palumaru had been bragging about how he didn’t think Roku would show, and if he did, that he would probably forfeit, but then Tomo and Taro showed up, bleeding and winded. Now Palumaru had a bit of fear in his eyes, although he was still not showing it physically. The wind grew harsh. In the center of the field there was a very tightly spinning wind, and those near there were thrown away from it. Palumaru’s eyes were full of fear now, and he was glancing around, expecting to die at any moment. Then, the wind stopped, and in the center of the spinning leaves stood Roku, standing strong, arms crossed, staring directly at Palumaru. Palumaru immediately wiped the scared look off his face, and stood up. Roku pointed a finger at him and said, “Piss head! Let’s go!” some laughed, others cheered. “Kick his a**!” some were yelling. Others were chanting “Roku, Roku,” or “Palu, Palu” Palumaru was shaking his hands in the air, smiling at those who were cheering for him. Roku, unlike Palumaru, was in the same position, staring, figuring out different ways to beat him. Not only, had Roku begun saying to himself, do I want to beat him, I need to make him look foolish by doing it. That way maybe I won’t have to deal with him anymore...
