• Can’t Escape (part 2)

Where was I now? All I could remember was that dreadful room that I started out in, and then how I ran. I remember that the man found me in his closet and I screamed for help. After that everything went black, assuming that I was hit over the head. Obviously I was because while I was recapping what happened, I could feel this throbbing pain from the back of my head. Now the one thing I couldn’t seem to figure out was, where was I now? The room I began in was dark, and had the foul smell; obviously from the bodies. The room I was in now was full of light, and had surgical utensils everywhere. That is when I looked down to see where I was.
OH MY GOD! I was in the center of all the utensils strapped down to what I thought was a gurney. What was he planning to do to me? Then I remembered my escape and how I kicked him in the groin, but that wasn’t important. The thing that was important was what he said, “You’ll pay for that witch, run all you want but I will find you, and you’ll wish you never did that.” He was truly not lying or exaggerating when he screamed those words out to me while I was running away. I was panicking frantically now, trying to reach a knife, any knife that I could use to free me from this gurney. It was hopeless. My hands and feet were tightly bound, so I didn’t have the slightest movement to reach anything.
This was truly the end for me. I had no chance of survival now that I was strapped down. Suddenly I hear two people talking. One of the voices I recognized, It was a voice that I could never forget, the man that had put me in this hell hole to begin with. The other voice was unfamiliar. My instincts told me to scream, scream as loud as I could, and so I did. “HELP ME, PLEASE HELP! THAT MAN TRAPPED ME DOWN HERE! IF YOU DON’T HELP I’M GOING TO DIE.” I suddenly heard the man panic. “Who was that, and why did she say she was going to die?” The kidnapper replied, “That is my niece, we are playing a game, she’s really good at it isn’t she.” I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. How could this man believe that I was that maniac’s niece?!
This was surely not going to work out well so instead of yelling for help, I tried to wriggle my way out of these straps. It was hopeless yes, but it was better then laying here waiting to die. As I was trying to escape I heard a rather unusual thump against the floor, from above. What was going on? I thought it over for a second and when I was deep in thought I heard footsteps coming closer and closer to the door. That’s what that loud thump was. That maniac obviously killed the visitor and was coming to torture me! What was I going to do? I screamed; yes it didn’t help the cause but what was I suppose to do, just sit here and smile.
When the door finally opened, it was not who I expected. It was a different man; one of whom I didn’t know. He ran over to me and covered my mouth. He spoke, “Be quiet, I knocked him out but he will wake up soon, come on I got to get you out of here.”
I was so relieved. As he unstrapped me, I was telling him everything that happened. Then when I was finally unstrapped he helped me down from the gurney and led me towards the doorway. While we were running down the hall he froze in front of me, and I ran into him. As I looked past his shoulder, I saw the man standing right in front of us, ready to attack. You could tell in his eyes that he was not willing to let anyone get away.
The man that saved me screamed, “Run, you get out of here, and don’t turn around whatever you do.” I did as I was told and turned around and ran back the way I came looking for an alternative exit. You could hear the 2 men fighting. I thought to myself; what am I doing, he saved my life and now I’m going to let him die. What was I going to do stand here and watch or try to help him in any way I could. As I was thinking about what to do I heard a scream from one of the men. What do I do!
