• Robyn twisted a strand of her long coppery hair around her finger. Raven focused on Robyn's delicate painstakingly manicured nails. She let her gaze drift down to her own bitten black slivers. The twins were as simillar as chalk and cheese. Raven had dyed her hair indigo, gone goth and tried hard to be different whereas Robyn was normal and kept her natural red hair the way it was.
"Y'know, I heard Craig talking about you today." Raven raised her voice.
"I know. I guess it's because he's mad about me." Robyn giggled. Raven felt her blood burn.
"Yeah, he said that you were a stuck up cow and that you should just go and hide under a bridge like the troll you are!" She snapped.
"No, little black bird! That's what you said about me today. I do read your diary, you know!" Robyn winked at her.
"You read my diary?!" Raven shrieked.
"Duh!" Robyn stopped fiddling with her hair and gave Raven a little push.
"I don't read your diary!" Raven pushed her back harder.
"Now, lets not turn this into a wrestling match!" Robyn smiled sweetly. They continued the long walk home. As they went over the barrier free bridge, Robyn gently reached out and took Raven's skinny arm. Grinning, she threw Raven into the four foot deep river. Raven could resist the mild current and pull herself onto the muddy bank. Robyn turned around with a darker expression on her face.
"Don't fight with me black bird. I can be a lot nastier than you." She whispered.

The large door of the Twine mansion creaked open as Raven and Robyn entered. Raven crept up the stairs and into her room. Robyn watched as Ravens door came to a complete close. She then produced a key from her pink beaded purse. The stairs made no sound as she ran up them. Robyn scraped her hair back behind her ear and listened for any signs of Raven getting up and opening her door. Robyn put the key into the lock and twisted it. Raven was locked in. Robyn sniggered when she heard Raven sprinting to the door and desperatley bashing it and scratching at it.
"Robyn, let me out! Please!" Raven screamed from behind the barrier.
"Sorry black bird, I dropped the key." Robyn quickly dashed outside and stood beneath Raven's gothic leaded window.
"Oh little black bird! Lookie down here!" Raven stuck her pale pixie face out of the window and looked down. Robyn showed Raven the keys and then tossed them into the river, which Raven had fallen into earlier. Raven let tears cascade down her cheeks.
"I hate you!" She shouted. Robyn simply shrugged and skipped away from the Romeo style scenaro. Raven whipped out her mobile and dialled her friends number.
"Hi, Craig? Um..." Raven explained the situation. Craig promised to come by and bring his old ladder with him.

Robyn watched Craig as he climbed up his ladder and gently rapped on Raven's window. She saw Raven take his hand and he led her down the ladder. She gasped as what she saw next shocked her. Craig said something that made Raven laugh, then he leaned close to her and very softly kissed her lips. Raven wrapped her arms around his neck. Robyn thundered outside.
"Raven! You stupid little cow!" She fumed.
"Robyn?" Raven let her hand slip into Craigs.
"Obviously! My God! I hate you both!" Robyn slapped Raven hard across the face.
"Why?" Raven felt her cheek burning.
"Oh, because you just kissed my future husband!" Robyn was about to hit Raven again, but Craig grabbed her wrist.
"Robyn, calm down. How did you know?" He asked, loosening his grip.
"Oh..." Robyn was too embarassed to tell them how she had found out about the kiss, "a little birdie told me."
