• On a bright warm morning, Amelia and Amber were waking up early because they were eager to go to the Central Park around the corner. This was their first visit to the Central Park. "Get dressed." their mother called as they jumped off of their bed. "Okay, mom." they both said. Twenty minutes later, they were all dressed. Amelia wore a blue shirt with dark black jeans and Amber wore a pink long-sleeve blouse with blue pants. Then they headed to the kitchen table. "What do you want for breakfast kiddos?" their parents asked. "Pancakes please." Amelia said first. "Cereal please." Amber said second. "Coming right up." their dad told them like he was a waiter. Dad finished making breakfast and then handed them to Amelia and Amber. "Delicious!" they both yelled as they finished. "Hey dad, can we go to Central Park by ourselves?" Amelia and Amber both asked at the same time. Their parents paused for a minute then finally their mom said "Sure why not? It's just around the corner, but don't talk to any strangers." "We know, mom." Amber said. Then they opened the front door and ran outside. "Race you!" they both said. When they were halfway there, they stopped. They saw a white horse with a sliver horn and long white hair that goes all the way down her neck. It was resting on the bright warm sun. "A unicorn?" they asked each other. There was a note attached to it. Amelia looked at the note and then read it. "This unicorn is named Sunlight. You must help her go back to his home or all will be destroyed. Come on." "Okay... I guess." Amber answered. They hopped on the unicorn's back and Amelia started to get the unicorn to go. The unicorn jumped and then Amelia started going up, down, right and left. "Her home!" Amelia yelled. "How do you know all of this stuff?" Amber asked. "Well, I always thought us as so normal I just want us to be like not normal." Amelia replied. "Oh..." Amber said quietly. Then nobody said a word until the ride was over. "Sunlight, stop now." Amelia said to the unicorn and the unicorn did what she was told. They got off of the unicorn and stared at her home. It was a warm and beautiful place where the sun always shine and the flowers always grow. "You have to go." Amelia said sadly. "I know I've only known you for a short time but I hadn't." "But why does she have to go here?" Amber asked. "She gets powerful when the sun shines and weak when it gets dark." Amelia said softly. "Oh I get it now." Amber said. Then Amelia and Amber patted on Sunlight's soft head. "Bye now." they both said as the unicorn galloped away. "Looks like we're not normal after all." Amber cheered Amelia up. Amelia smiled a little and they both went to Central Park. The End.
