• She awoke the next day to a bright room with bird songs hung over the air. A note was placed on her dresser. She got up and placed her turquoise silk nightgown, and her overrobe, and took the letter in her hand.
    'Goldfire,
The neighbours found out about yesterday somehow and it is illegal here to kiss a girl/boy unless they are married. So i am afraid that they will turn us in. You must get rid of them. I know i said that we had to keep a low profile for now but we have no choice, for the penalty is a hanging. They might not hang you but they might hang me. So tonight meet me in the garden, and ill explain the mission.Kalvin.'
"Great...we might get hanged just for that.Oh god, what shall I do?"
Her thoughts got interrupted by a bang and some clatter in the house. Her door barged open and a strong- looking policeman came and took her by the shoulders.
"Come on! Time to get rid of you criminals once and for all."His voice made her cringe at the force and the sound, glass scraping glass.
"Unhand her! You have no right to- Let go of me!" Another policeman came in her room with Kalvin tied up.
"No! Let us go!" They carried them off outside and going seperate directions.
    "Goldfire!"
    "Kalvin!"

    She awoke in a metal cage, cold and damp. 'Reminds me of the alley' She thought. She stood up and she now wore tattered clothes, brown and dirty. She went to the bars to look at the cell in front of her. Her boss was in it and still unconcious. A letter was tied to the bars;
'You have untill the sun reaches the highest peak untill we hang you both. Enjoy your last hours, serial killer.'
'I'm a god! I can get out easy!' She whispered.
    'Kalvin, wake up!'
    'What is it?'
'I can get us out of here.'
Well then don't just stand there.'
The metal bars fell off their hinges, and so did the ones in front of her. Fire now was on her hands, and her hair was ablaze.
'Goldfire... why do you now wear...'
She looked at her outfit; a clingy dress red marked with black ingravings only she understood, she could tell that stopped at mid-thigh. She closed her eyes and firebirds came to land outside their cells. They jumped on them as -you could say- the entire patrol of officers came. The birds took flight, as she burned all of the policemen.
"To the house and grab anything of value!" Kalvin shouted from his ride, clutching his stomach at the speed. She laughed and the birds sped on, finally stopping at the house. They sped into it and filled packs with gold and other valuable things. Returing to the birds, a mob was coming., and they got on them as fast as possible. They took flight and the mob started to throw anything sharp and pointy. It did nothing.
"Now where do we go?" He asked her.
"To the only place that you can start afresh: Canada."
