• Once there was a man named Aaron. He was apart of a mystical kingdom, whose princess was not wed. Aaron loved this fair, young princess, however, he could not express his love. You see, dear reader, alas, Aaron was a mere commoner. So, our honorable heroin was in a terrible mess. Even so, Aaron wouldn't give up. Traveling to see his friend, Flame, he wished to share with her the news of his love.

    (I'm really corny XD!)

He arrived there to see her sitting alone. Coming up to her, he took hold of her shoulder.

"Flame, Flame! Guess what!?" Aaron yelped in delight.

"What is it Aaron?" Flame asked looking at him.

"The princess, oh Flame, how fair she is! Flame, i adore her so! What should I do, Flame? I am a commoner, and she is a princess!" Aaron replied in dismay.

Flame turned to him, to see how serious he was.

"Aaron, my friend, do you know who I am?"

Aaron looked at her rather confused.

"You are the duke's daughter, cousin to the princess."

It then occurred to Aaron what those words meant.

"Could you let me meet the princess?"

    Flame smiled.

    "I could, however....." Flame paused.

    "However?" Aaron repeated.

"However, you must do something for me first."

Aaron looked at Flame, he knew that whatever it was, it would be a dreadful request.

"What do I have to do?" Aaron asked setting aside the future terror.

"Slay the Ice Queen that so horrifies this land."

Aaron had heard much of the Ice Queen, Icy. She was a horror that brought much grief to them all. He wished so that she did not ask this of him. However, he would do this, all to see his dearly beloved.

"I will do this!" Aaron said before leaving.

Returning to his abroad, he picked up his sword of fire, the only thing that could slay the terror, Icy. Setting off, he gazed at the princess, whom was in her tower singing. He sighed at her beauty, while hoping of returning, so he could see her face to face. He imagined her voice and smile. How those fancied him so.
Snapping out of it, he listened to her singing, her voice as sweet as a dove. This made him want her all the more.
Losing control of himself, temporarily, he yelled out.

"Princess, you sing nicely! Please sing some more!"

Then he proceeded to run off, into the fields away from the castle.

Aaron, traveling miles that day, came into a small town. Walking into an inn, Aaron heard talk of that day..

"Did you hear? Icy grows close! The army doesn't rise! Why I ask!" Said a woman who looked rather rugged.

"They are scared! Scared that it's true! That the monster know as the Ice Queen, Icy, will surely freeze their tails off!" A man remarked.

Listening, Aaron heard more unseemly remarks about the army and Icy. It was the that he realized how hated and despised both were to the people.

"Hold on everyone! The royal family is going to stop Icy!" Aaron yelled out.

"Oh yeah? How?" Said the man from before.

"You'll see! Just wait!" Aaron told him.

Everyone started to laugh, making Aaron flee to his room.

The next day Aaron left where he had slept, and headed straight for Icy. He made quick work of her, and forever put an end to her monstrosities. He then decided to go home. Aaron was so tired from his trip.

Aaron fell in his bed, exhausted from everything. He had returned from Flame's not so long ago, telling of the victory. She rewarded him, telling that the king wanted him as a duke and him to marry his beloved.
Oh yes, Aaron was extremely happy, however he was too worn out to care.

The next day he came before the king, was granted his title, and was brought up to the princess' tower to meet her.

Impatiently he knocked on her door.

    "Who is it?" She yelled.

"Hi! I'm Aaron! The king said that I'm going to marry you!"

He then heard something fall, and a shriek.

    "Princess Aeris?"

Aaron looked at the door confused, while he was nearly hit by it. Aeris came flying out to greet him. "Y.... You're the new duke? You look like an idiot."

"Hey!.... Wait..... Huh?" Aaron looked at her confused.

Aeris sighed, trying to hide a laugh.

"At least you're cute." Aeris said.

That day onward, Aaron lived very happy. The end.
