• "Jeramy! Are you ready?" Kiara's mother yelled at her as she ran around the house getting things ready. "Just about mom! Jake pack some food would you please?" She yelled still running about the house like a chicken with its head cut off. Jake was in the kitchen with grandfather Josph packing some food. "Do you think we will be ok?" Jake asked as he made a few sandwiches. "You two will be fine. Along the way you may meet people and maybe become friends. But Jeramy must stay a male." Jake tured to grandfather Josph. "Why? Dont you think we maybe able to tell people?" Jake asked. "Well if Jeramy can find one man to share her secret, that will be the man she mush love. After that, you would have to see." Grandfather Josph told Jake as he packed some more sandwitches onto a pack. "What are you two talking about now?" Kiara asked as she came running into the kitchen. "Nothing!" Both Jake and grandfather Josph said at the sametime. "Ok? Well everything is ready so we can go."Kiara said as she took the food bag and put it into a bigger sack to carry. Jake alked over and took the sack that he slung over his shoulders. "Well lets go then." He said with a smile and a nod.

Jake and Kiara said there goodbyes and left. Jake left looking like he always did. Black t-shirt and blue jeans. Kiara, how ever, left in a black hooded cape, black faded jeans, and a loose fitting dark green t-shirt. Her hair was up in the way that she found made her look more boy-ish. They left the house at sunrise and walked though the town to the forest furthest from the castle. They had been walking a long time though the forest. The forest was dark at some spots but the light did shine though all the trees. "Can we stop? I need to eat." Kiara asked as she collapsed beside a tree. Jake laughed. "Ya sure. Its about lunchtime anyway." Jake said as he walked over to her and pulled out two sandwitches. They sat beside the tree and ate happily. After Jake was done he layed down and looked yp at the tops of the trees. "Do you think I am making the right desition?" Kiara asked Jake. She looked at the ground as she asked. "Well if you dont love him, then yes. You will meet someone that you will fall in love with and share your secret." Jake smiled as he turned his head to look at Kiara. "Thanks Jake" She said looking at him and smiling.

"Raven!" Keath yelled coming into the hall. "Yes Sir?" Raven answered coming out from behind the thrown. Keath opened his arms wide and smiled even wider. He walked up the few steps and stopped. "Today, today is the day I get her!" Raven smiled and bowed his head. "Ready my horses! I want to get her now!" Keath told Raven. "As you wish." Raven said as he bowed his head and made his out of the hall. Keath looked around and down at is chair. "She will be mine....." He ran his fingure up and down all the carvings he had in his thrown. "What ever it takes. She will be mine" He said slowly turning and started walking down the steps and to the door.

"The king is coming! The king is coming!" You could hear grandfather Josph yell has he came running into the house. "Oh my god! Everyone! Remember what to say?!" Kiara's mother yelled coming out from the kitchen. "Kiara's mother father came running out of the house to meet the king. Followed closly by grandfather Josph. King Keath and a couple of his gaurds came up to the house. They dismounted and walked up the sidewalk. They stopped right infrount of them. "Where is she?" Keath asked addressing Kiara's mother. 'I dont know who you are talking about, Sir." She replyed as she and the other two bowed there heads. Keath looked around and turned to his gaurds. "Search the ouse." The gaurds nodded and took off into the house. "There is no-one there!" They said as grandfather josph smiled a small smile that no-one could see. Keath looked at the gaurds then back at the parets and grandfather Josph. "I will find her!" Was all he said before he turned and walked back to the horses. 'Lets go!" they turned back to the direction of the castle and headed off.

"Raven!"Keath yelled out into the castle just as he got there. Raven came out from behind a statue and bowed his head. "Yes my lord?" "Get the demons ready! We will find her! My guess is that she headed for the forest." Keath bellowed out. "Get the flyers, the shadows and," Keath paused for a moment. "And the black dogs. They all may not be that smart, but they have never done me wrong. Now bring her to here!" Keath yelled as he left into the castle. Raven bowed as he left and smiled. He walked down to the dungens and awoke the flyers, the shadows and the black dogs. "My friends! You all must help me to get a surten someone here. She is dressed as a male so do not be fooled. My bothers! Go out and find her!" Raven yelled to rev-up the demons. He let the gate open and watched them all swarm out in every direction possable.

"Jake, I need to stop. We have been doing this for about a week and i need a bath!" Kiara told Jake as she rested agenst a tree trunk. "Next spring we find you can have a bath." He said with a slight laugh. Kiara sighed happily. About a hour later Kiara and Jake came across a small spring. Kiara smiled happily and turned to Jake. Jake nodded a walked a few feet away. He walked well enough away that he could not see her, but was close enough that if there was trouble, he was there. Kiara slowly and carefully undressed as se steped into the hot spring. Kiara had been in the hot spring for a bout a hour before Jake started to yell at her to get a move on. "Alright Jake, i will be out in a minute!" She yelled back at him. She came out dressed and looking like normal, well boy normal that is. "Lets set camp up here for tonight." Jake told Kiara as she came out of the bushes. Kiara nodded. He turned ad walked a little ways to the capm site he had already started to make. Kiara turned to the right to go off and find fire wood.

Jake had found a nice camp spot. Nice flat ground that had enough trees to cover it. n the distance you could hear Kiara cutting down a tree to make fire wood. *Crack!**Smash!* Kiara's tree had cracked and fallen. Kiara got to work quickly. She pulled out her old sword that her grandfather gave her, and without bracking a sweat, chopped up the tree into logs and smaller pieses. Kiara picked up a handfull and brought it over to the camp site. "Do you need help moving the wood?" Jake asked as she brought it into the site. "No, its fine. I need the exersize." She smiled and put the wood down in the place she figured the fire pit would be close to. She went back and forth about three more times. 'Are you done yet?" Jake asked with a small laugh. "Ya, i have one more trip." She said smiling and dropping the wood. She turned and started walking back for the last od the wood. When she got there she screamed. There was a small thin cat stealling her wood. The cat looked at her and turned and ran. "Hey! Thats my wood! Get back here!" Kiara took off after the cat. 'Where is the cat going? And why did it steal my wood?' Kiara though to herself. Kiara finally cought up to the cat as it stopped infrount of a girl laying halfway in the water.
