• It’s Wednesday afternoon and school was really rough. With all the bullying and hardships, I was glad to be in my own room. As I changed into my karate suit, I thought all about my stressing problem. I took a deep breath and rushed upstairs to eat my very favorite snack, a delicious, super-fudged, sprinkle-covered brownie. Then I sat down to do my homework.
“Angel, it’s time to go,” my dad called
    “Okay! I’m ready,” I replied.
I hopped into my dad’s snowy white, really shiny Honda Sonata and took off. I couldn’t wait to get to Karate! Karate is my favorite sport. I got into the Okiwan karate place, bowed, and said hi to Sensae Rodney and Gaicho, my two awesome karate teachers. I did everything amazing and the day was incredible!
Once karate was over, I said bye to everyone and went home.
“Today was amazing! I did everything almost perfect!” I told my dad happily.
“Angel,” my dad started, “you know how Tia Emma was sick, right?”
Everything paused. I knew that something was wrong for Tia Emma was my great aunt and heart I loved her so much heart . sad
“Yes, I know. Is she okay?” I asked in a very pity look. sad
sad “Well, she’s in heaven,” he mumbled in a low voice. He noticed that my expression changed. He asked me if I was all right. My reply was just a straight look out of the window with a very blank look. I hugged him tightly and started to weep. crying
crying “Why does she have to die? Why does this have to happen to her?” I sobbed. crying
“You should be happy! She’s in heaven!” my dad explained.
“ But I’m not happy and I know she’s in heaven. I’m happy for her because of that, but I am just crushed that she’s gone and here with me on earth,” I cried bursting with tears like a crying baby and giving him a huge bear hug.
“Just promise me to never tell your brother, Andres, nor sister, Sofia. Got it?” my dad commanded with a soft voice.
    “I promise. I won’t tell them about this incident,” I swore. 3nodding
Later that day, I ran to hug my mom and took her to another room.
“I found out about Tia Emma,” I told my mom, hugging her with all my might. crying
“Sofia and Andres already know. It’s okay my dear,” Mom said soothing me and giving me a great bear hug.
“Oh, Mom. Why does she have to die? She was my great aunt and friend who never did anything wrong,” I began, “It’s so hard for me!” sad
“I know it’s hard, but you just have to live with it. Don’t cry. It’s going to be okay,” agreed Mom, saying it with the most soothing voice I have ever heard. She gave me another hug and wiped my teardrops falling from my eyes. We both went to the kitchen to eat. I thank God for my meal and prayed for my great aunt, who is as kind as an angel, so she could be in heaven for sure. I will never forget my great aunt, an amazing and gentle-loving friend. For now on, I see her as an innocent, heart-loving, child- caring saint.
