"We're broke"
Those tearful words echoed through Enolough
People Had lost their jobs, and some had even died.
Everyone worshipped the dead like gods, and some even sacrificed themselves.
The population was 1million before this happend,
and now it is 500 people.

People lived off of other people's dead carcasses,
they had a fight night every evening, whoever lost was killed and eaten.

First part is short but you said you were writing it in a class so it sounds like it will be a good story keep going.
