• The glistening waves crash against the shore, upsetting a small flock of seagulls. I watch them fly away into the distance, the turn to face the ocean once more. The sand crunches beneath my bare feet as I take a step forward. I glance down at my watch. 2:00 am. I take another step towards the swelling sea and a cool wind tosses my hair. I look to the darkened sky to see clouds swirling above. I know it's about to rain.
I continue stepping closer and closer to the ocean, the clouds above looking more menacing every moment. Then, with only six steps from the water, a small rain drop falls on my arm. I hear the rest of the rain above, almost waiting for my consent. I sign and they fall upon me. Embracing the rain, I run towards the beating waves and jump forward.
I'm all wet, but not from the ocean. I gracefully float above the glistening waters, then take off towards the horizon.
