So I see I've lured you in with my delightful banter! You've stuck around for a second paragraph. Now, I admit, that first paragraph was actually rather short, and it wasn't at all too offensive, so I shan't think it likely it could drive anyone away, but I am nevertheless overjoyed to see you have stuck around for more of me! Which I suppose that is the whole purpose of this section, correct? The "About Me" Section?<br />

Hmm...You wish to know about me. About...me? About me, you say? That's the reason for this region...About...Me.<br />
<br />
Right. Well, I'm not really entirely sure how to continue on without sounding arrogant. If I'm supposed to talk about myself, presumably I am supposed to advertise my merits, yet I fear doing so might come across as just a tad overbearing.<br />
<br />
Here! Let's start with things I do and enjoy. A gentle move into the right direction, wouldn't you agree?<br />

To begin, I am an avid reader. When I say avid reader, I mean, I read. A lot. It is, however, a seasonal thing. There are often weeks on end where I will not so much as touch a book - the off-season, so to speak. When I am reading, though, I'm tearing through books. I typically go through some two thousand pages a week - oh, about four, five long novels. And I love it. It brings me great satisfaction.<br />
<br />
And it brings me great satisfaction because I have a passion for English. The language is beautiful to me. Its size, its scale - the grandeur with which situations might be described. I adore our precious little tongue and its many, many words from its many, many sources.<br />
<br />
This adoration is exactly why I want to write. Well, part of the reason. You see, I intend - not only desire but intend, mind you - to be an author. I have stories galore hidden within my brain, and each and every one not only wishes but deserves to be given life through ink. Not to toot my own horn, but I think myself best suited to tell the stories. I have that dear passion I mentioned for our language, and I am most familiar with my own tales naturally, so who better to pen them?<br />
<br />
That brings me to a related interest, actually. I enjoy roleplaying. I haven't done so in a great long while, mind you, but I do ever so enjoy it. Roleplaying is a marvelous way, in my opinion, to develop an enhanced understanding and familiarity with story-making - and writing, in general. Over months, it not only can but very likely will increase tremendously an individual's competence with our dear, beloved tongue, and the general good it does for one's creativity can in no way be measured. Roleplaying is a very productive way for any aspiring author to practice. Though I do so no longer, I still hold, as a result of my own self-teaching through this process, a great fascination and endearment towards the act. And I may someday be free to roleplay freely once more!<br />
<br />
This all leads to another important segment in my life. (Oh dear. I suppose starting with my passion was, truly, an excellent way to open up my chatter box.) I am currently working towards my Bachelor's in English and Creative Writing. I attend a major university - one that gets far less credit than it should, really - and I am quite proud of myself for not only entering the school but maintaining a 3.8 GPA while there. Six semesters in, and I merely do better with each passing season.<br />

Hmmm...I really should cut this short soon. It is beginning to drag on, and I'm rather certain I've overstayed my welcome within your eye-space. I shall conclude, I do believe.<br />
